Gabriel Osho was in action for Auxerre who defeated Marseille 3-1 away in the French Ligue 1 on Friday.
Osho featured for 90 minutes as Auxerre extend their unbeaten run to four games (three wins, one draw).
Hamed Traore, Lassine Sinayoko and Gaetan Perrin were the scorers for Auxerre while Mason Greenwood scored Marseille’s goal.
Sinayoko opened the scoring in the 10th minute before Perrin and Traore netted the second and third goals on 43 and 45 minutes respectively.
On 65 minutes Greenwood pulled a goal back from the penalty spot which was only a consolation strike.
With the win, Auxerre are temporarily in sixth place on 16 points after 11 games in the French topflight.
Friday’s game against Marseille was Osho’s ninth this season for Auxerre.
The former Luton player is part of the Super Eagles squad that will take on Benin Republic and Rwanda in the AFCON qualifiers.
