Mikel Arteta has said he is not certain if Declan Rice will be available for this weekend’s clash with Chelsea.
Rice missed Arsenal’s Champions League defeat to Inter Milan on Wednesday due to injury.
Speaking in his presser on Friday, Arteta said Rice has not featured in training hence his availability is not confirmed.
“I have to be very vague on that one because there is no clarity if he is going to be fit or not for the weekend.
He hasn’t trained yet and it is not clear yet whether he is going to be available.”
The Gunners would hope to bounce back from their recent poor form which saw them lose back-to-back games.
However, they would welcome Martin Odegaard who had been out with injury but came on late in the game with Inter.
