Nigeria forward Victor Osimhen will look to score his fifth goal of the season for Lille when they take on Angers SCO in their French Ligue 1 clash today (Friday ) at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy, reports Completesports.com.
Osimhen has been in superb form for Lille following his switch from Belgian outfit, Sporting Charleroi this summer, scoring four goals in four league appearances for the club.
Remarkably, all his four goals for Lille have come in their two home fixtures as he is yet to score on the road.
The 20-year-old who was on target in Nigeria’s 2-2 international friendly draw against Ukraine on Tuesday will also be keen to move ahead of Dutch forward Memphis Depay of Olympic Lyon in the top scorers chart.
Both players have scored the same number of goals from the same number of matches.
Lille occupy 10th position in the table on six points from four games, while their today’s opponent, Angers SCO, sit in fourth place behind PSG, Rennes and Nice – all on nine points.
