Strickers rubbish , midfielders nonsense. these fools should not represent nigeria at world cup.

  • For some reason my guts told me the number 3 will lose his penalty. This is what happens when you don’t take your chances. Too mucg individual plays. They had the opportunity to seal the game in the second half

  • rubbish team ever

  • no scorers no defenders where are they from?

  • great 5 years ago

are they the best nigeria can produce? i doubt it

  • The team is quite talented but lacking cutting age in the final third. Too much individual play rather than play as a team, they waisted goal scoring chances each player is trying to take the glory. Manu Garba has a way of getting his team to play as a unit but for some reasons I put my head around his forwards are trying to outshine each other which cost them dearly.
They certainly had improved from WAFU CUP but they still needs to improve if they are going to do well at the world stage.
Obani thinks every ball he hits will find it’s way at the back of the net that has to change.

  • The boys are talented, no doubt. But there seems to be a lot of individual plays. Some of them seem too eager to impress some supposed scouts; and will rather showboat than just tap to the next better-placed teammate. For the World Cup, Manu Garba should focus on tiki-taka play and less on individual expression.

I’ll say, nevertheless, well done the Golden Eaglets. I couldn’t watch the match live. From the analysis of those that did, I understand the Guineans look a lot overaged. So nothing to be ashamed about, boys. The glorious Osimhen class also finished third in Africa but went on to spank Mali (that won the U17 trophy at the continental level) at the final of the global stage. Yep, when it mattered most.

  • There is one player that is over hyped we are yet to see what he is made of something tells me if we had won this match we may not see him play one minute in this tournament I hope the gaffer gives him a chance in the loser’s final let’s the fans at least get to see him and why he could not break into the first team and now going into the global stage.

    Yes, the boys tried

  • This is only the pre-game of the AFCON in Egypt. Nigeria has always struggled against Guinea.
