please wh knows where i can watch the match

  • But neither NTA nor AIT is showing the match. This is incredible, Mr Pinnick! Must we always watch online?

  • One team green, the other blue. Lol. Another colour blindness for viewers.

  • JimmyBall 3 years ago

I expected the coach to start Iwuala in this game… nothing is at stake… Why not use the opportunity to test the likes of Shehu, Awaziem and Iwuala? It’s a dead-rubber.

    • Sammy 3 years ago

The coach is treating the match as preparatory to the world cup qualifiers starting in May, so he’s playing his strongest side. As you can see this game has exposed some communication issues between several combinations on the pitch, that the coach still needs to address before the start of world cup qualifiers when we’ll play stronger sides.

  • Dr. Drey 3 years ago

The S/l vs Benin game is supposed to be played simultaneously with Nigeria vs Lesotho. Ours is 20 minutes old now yet both S/L and Benin are yet to come out of their dressing rooms……abi S/L don test the entire Benin first XI pisotive for Covid 19….??? LMAO

  • Dr. Drey 3 years ago

    Goaaaalllll……Osimhen..!!!!

    • Dr. Drey 3 years ago

50 goals in Belgium or not…….We know whom our no 1 striker is in the SE is…….LMAO

      • @Drey are you seeing it My X factor Players are proving there X factor Worth

      • Stop disrespecting Onauchu Drey. Stop being a nuisance. Osimhen is our no.1 striker no doubt but must you show your foolishness all the time. You can have your favourite in Osimhen and still respect his counterpart.

  • pompei 3 years ago

    Go go gadjet legs…Osimhen!
Mr. long legs stretches his legs to knock in a goal!

  • When I tell you guys Onachu is not on Victor And Kelechis level una dey doll de dere dey doll now. Omo Naija are you seeing it.. No one is on there level

    • JimmyBall 3 years ago

@Ugo Iwunze… Yes Osimhen is good but how do you even keep a straight face to compare someone who is not even on the pitch?

      • @JimmyBall There is nothing to compare the stats say it all like I said the other day after Benin Game. Osimhen is the leading scorer in the qualifiers for a reason. And he just added another one to his belt. What are you actually saying bros?? or rather not seeing.

  • Dr. Drey 3 years ago

Its 30 mins in Lagos now and they are yet to step out of the dressing rooms in Freetown. CAF what is happening. The final group matches are all meant to be played simultaneously.

The millet farm pitch in freetown is still looking as glittery as before….LMAO. Benin go hear am hot today….LMAO

  • pompei 3 years ago

    Dum di dum di dum…..

  • JimmyBall 3 years ago

I won’t lie Super Eagles are playing kak today… nothing spectacular.

    • Super kak, I tell you. Nothing free flow, enjoyable.

    • pompei 3 years ago

Lesotho really parked their bus today. Everybody behind the ball. Unlike the Benin game, we are really struggling to create chances. The build up of passes from defense to midfield is ok, until it gets to the attack, then it breaks down.

  • Lord AMO 3 years ago

    Boring

  • Objectively the super eagles is not doing too fine. The creativity upfront is not there. Well let’s see how things unfold in the second half.

  • Dr. Drey 3 years ago

….and its halftime in Lagos. Nig 1:0 Lesotho

Meanwhile Freetown is still silent. Maybe they’ll kickoff by 1700hrs GMT eventually.

  • Ololo 3 years ago

    Nigerians are very ungrateful truly..

The boys are playing well, Lesotho are playing all men in their half, so defensive, not interested in ball possession. Yet the boys are going okay, don’t forget there is nothing to play for!

Who noticed the Lagos pitch seems good for football, the ball is not bouncing abnormally. I think I like Lagos for our football.. Aside uyo this is one of the only places the boys are free to express themselves.

    • Dr. Drey 3 years ago

      You can say that again.

@Collinsid come and see pitch o. Nor be that hard-bed grazing ranch wey una get for ogbe stadium. LMAO

….Dr. Drey person go break ya head for this forum one day….Lolz

    • Ayphillydegreat 3 years ago

Absolutely spot on. The pitch is immaculate, and the boys are not doing badly. I just want to see how they combine well begin to understand each other. Nothing to play for really and that assist from Iheanacho to Osimhen could be the beginning of great things to come.

  • Dr. Drey 3 years ago

Someone should pls tell Kelechi that “senior man” no be for mouth. Every forward move seems to collapse once the ball gets to him. That no 10 position still remains iwobi’s to relinquish.

Samu chukwueze like vs Benin is looking off-colour again today…Zero end product.

Even though its a dead rubber, the team needs to get serious.

  • Jones 3 years ago

Eswatini is beating Senegal by the way HT 0-1

  • GLORY 3 years ago

Etebo/ ndidi combination never seem to impress. We surely need a truly defensive minded midfielder who will leave the forward play for others while focusing purely on his defensive midfield play.

  • JimmyBall 3 years ago

I go talk my mind… I am beginning to feel Oghenekaro Etebo is no longer serious and his game has really dimmed… I want to see Shehu Abdullahi and Iwuala, I see Etebo giving way for Lookman Ademola permanently, lookman is a stoic and finesse ball-playing Wideman, I believe he has enough ability to slot into a real formidable no 10 for us… I no trust Aribo against akpu-pounders like Cameroon and Senegal, he appears too soft for African crunch games… Samuel Chukwueze these days plays street-football “over-carry” when mostly playing for Eagles… I will like to see someone challenge Chukwueze real hard and begin to share that right wing seriously…

  • Bolarinwa 3 years ago

  • Omo mk second half start abeg.. Make person watch sweet football.

  • Dr. Drey 3 years ago

2nd half underway in Lagos. Freetown still quiet. E be like say na midnight dem wan play that their match

  • Ololo 3 years ago

Etebo, and Samuel chukwueze would find it difficult to get into this team when ejarie, olise and lookman finally get their clearance into the team..

This team is their chance to impress the coach but they are not taking it esp Samuel Chuks..

If a Simon Moses and Samuel Kalu were available I don’t see how Samuel Chuks would play let alone a great baller like lookmam and olise..

  • Dr. Drey 3 years ago

    Goooaalalllll…..Etebooooo…!!!

    • Dr. Drey 3 years ago

Etebo ably assisted by you know who…..VICTOR ‘THE BISON’ OSIMHEN

  • Etebo don score sha…wer haters dey

  • pompei 3 years ago

Lovely unselfish play by Osimhen results in goal number 2.

  • Osimhen is such a team player! I am so sorry I am forced to make a comparison. He is very much ahead of Paul without a doubt. Even when he does not score any goal, there is not doubt his impact is ALWAYS evident in any game

    • JimmyBall 3 years ago

Paulo score last match sef na… They are different in good ways. Is Iwobi playing today at all? I have the feeling that Rohr does not want to play Iwuala knowing that guy will pick
      some people jersey fast.

  • pompei 3 years ago

Powerful shot by Chukwueze. No control though.

  • JimmyBall 3 years ago

Oga Rohr make changes na, the game na dead rubber… Haba!

  • pompei 3 years ago

Much better passage of play from Nigeria. Ebuehi almost scored with a left footer.

  • Poke Toholo 3 years ago

Lesotho is a very bad team, no threat to us at all, let’s not get too carries away with this win…Yes, a win is a win, but let’s be cautious, the team still need a lot of improvement.
I have a question though, if Iwobi couldn’t play in the last game due to C-19, how comes he is playing today?? Abi was the first reading false?? Or is it me getting the wrong info about what happened with him?
Journalists in Nigeria need to wake up and do some work! Haba

    • Dr Banks 3 years ago

Repeat tests in Lagos was Negative and NFF got CAF clearance for him to play. And it proved the Benin test wrong as no one with Covid-19 infection will play soccer for 70 mins without gasping for breadth.
      Kudos to NFF and Pinnic

      • Poke Toholo 3 years ago

        Ahh Ok…Thanks O jare.
Maybe the Benin test was done using a C-19 test kit from China, everyone knows the standard of things made in China lol! Only African countries still have the temerity to buy or even take anything for free from China these days.
The game’s a walk in the park for the boys, don’t know that we’ll learn a lot from this game about the true state of the SE
        Up SE!

  • JimmyBall 3 years ago

I am extremely disappointed Rohr did not play Iwuala today…

  • pompei 3 years ago

    Paulinho Onuachunaldo does it again!

  • Okay Okay Onuachu is on form… Wow great goal

  • Dr Banks 3 years ago

    Goooaaaal……….Onuachu delivered again

  • 4 zero up Nigeria

  • How did onuachu score, was it from a corner kick, free kick or open play?

    • Poke Toholo 3 years ago

Onyekuru dinked a deceptive little pass to him – both were in the penalty box, he controlled the ball and hit a half volley all in the same move and beat the goalie to the far left corner of his post. Very good improvised goal, shows he was alert and fluid with his application

  • pompei 3 years ago

Lesotho gave it a good fight. Not too bad a performance from Nigeria. The final third remains a problem. Fix that, and we have a much better team.

  • GLORY 3 years ago

Hate him or love him, Onuachu has just confirmed his potency in front of goal. He has won me over completely. And Rohr seem to have found its best to get him in second half. Kudos to the team. We are matching on really strong. This team is bursting loose all corners with quality. Rohr n the entire coaching have done tremendously well. God bless nigeria.

  • Ololo 3 years ago

    Things of interest to me

Rohn is a very good coach and has a very good team aside the errors of searia leon Nigeria did so well generally in the qualifier and that same team will knock out Benin Republic today because they appear to Me as the second best team in the group.

We have a quality defence, although ekong was captain today but the true leader in that defense is balogun, he is a very good defender who knows how to organize his back Line and can venture forward more like how David Luis does.

Man of the match for me today is ndidi, nothing passes him and he has so develop his ball control lately, future captain of the team.

Going forward certain players have played their way into the team and deserve further invitation.. Onyekweru and onuachu have done so well, it’s just sad for sadiz umar and awoniyi because I wonder how rohn would invite all of them same time..

I love what rohn did today, we have 3 options for left back, aino, zaidu and Collins and I sense rohn was looking for a way to drop Collins, but his performance today would cause rohn some future headache, because although at first he was scared and eager to impress but he did well and deserves to remain in the team..

It would be very difficult to rohn when olise, lookman and ejarie finally get clearance to play for Nigeria, I sense some of the central defenders like either omerua or ajayi would do to accommodate these players or musa.

Finally big congrats to the team, they are doing well

  • Poke Toholo 3 years ago

    Ha!
    Come on guys!!
Can we not leave all this cursing in making a simple point behind?
Please people, not only are you giving Nigerians a bad name as some other nationalities do read these too, but cursing and wishing somebody else bad are a doubled edged sword – when you curse another, it only returns to you 2 fold so again where is the sense in that sir?
It would be a start of something great if we could re arrange ourselves among ourselves o.

  • Chris 3 years ago

@ Dr. Drey, Paul scored a wonderful goal and that’s back to back. Learn how to appreciate our players no matter who is on the pitch. Comparing or or criticizing players is not good for the team. Learn how to keep your preference to yourself

    • Dr. Drey 3 years ago

Hehehehe…. congratulations to him. E for no score. Sadiq Umar and standby list will be waiting for him…LMAO.

Osimhen has raced into the lead as SE undisputed no 1 CF (a race him and Paul started together), Onuachu will do himself a world of good to tie down the no 2 spot b4 any other CF emerges…..and we don’t have to change our style of play for him to do that.

The lad don wake up to reality…LMAO

  • Proudly 9ja 3 years ago

Maybe the match i watched wasn’t thesame match most people saw that are criticizing Etebo, i thought he played really well. He and Ndidi were commanding in the midfield. He and everyone on the team made some poor passes which tge opposition intercepted but overall I thought Etebo did very well. His finish wasn’t easy at all, people might think osimen laud the ball on a platter but watch tge goal again abd u will see that tge ball was slightly behind him and he had to adjust his body to be able to place tge ball in the net. He was very energetic, tracking back to help the defense and mopping up any loose balls He was very strong on the ball not easily dispossessed. Ebuehi was also very good today, to me I think he is a better player than Aina, tge only thing going for Aina is his dexterity in his ability to use both feet. Sanusi needs to do better, he tend to lose the ball in dangerous areas, there was a blind pass he made in the 1st half into our box and the opposition intercepted it, if that was a good team we could have paid dearly. his decision making needs improvement. Collins no be am ooo, he isn’t tge right person to compete with Sanusi fir dat LB position to me. 9ja should look at that Bassey guy or Felix agu again since Germany didn’t pick him for u21, this is a time to try again to convince him dat his future is better with 9ja. Samu is declining with his decision making, u don’t have to hold on to the ball for too long bro, release abd move, use ur God giving speed, he is often playing to the gallery and sonetime it comes off as being selfish He is a talent no doubt but he needs serious challenge. He is becoming too relaxed as he gets to play everything. I think for GR to get tge best outta him, GR needs to bench him a few times or let him come off tge bench and he will sit up sharp. Sadiq Umar may have done himself more bad than good by not trying harder to come to these games even thought I understand that his club wouldn’t release him. This was his one chance to really stake a claim to the SE shirt. If Onuachu continues scoring there won’t be any incentive to invite Sadiq bcos onuachu has been in the team and understands GR playing philosophy and since worldcup qualifiers are fast approaching GR is more likely to stick with those he knows that experiment with unknown quantity regardless of how talented especially if onuachu is firing both for the SE and his club. Although I personally still prefer Sadiq to Onuachu but I can definitely live with Onuachu as a 2nd option. GR in my view made a little mistake by not fielding the fring players for this match, I understand he is using it to prepare for tge wirkdcup qualifiers but if some of your 1st team players aren’t available due to injury or loss of form in May or June nko? By given the fringe players playing time in a real competitive game u can better assess dem and know who u can really rely on. Anayo for example didn’t get enough playing time again and jury is still out on him, this would have been a great opportunity for 9ja people to see him. We’ve already qualified, why not try tge pairing of awaziem and Ahayi at tge back? Just my opinion tho

    • Greenturf 3 years ago

Etebo did absolutely well.He worked his socks off, worked tirelessly in the middle with Ndidi.
It’s unbelievable reading comments like this, you kinda wonder if they have watched the same match haha..

  • Sam k 3 years ago

God shut you up today Drey..you criticized npfl players iwula showed you his stuff na today is onuachu only 5mins into the game he scored.talk less

  • Edoman 3 years ago

3 goals for Nigeria is enough. This is a good ending for Super Eagle. In my judgment, Unuachu is the man of the Match. He knows how to score no matter how short a time he spent playing on the field. Nigerians love MR Rohr. He is a winner o. He will win again oo.

  • Ololo 3 years ago

    This games were well utilized.

Although we already qualified before any of the two games were played but rohn has been able to access almost all the players invited including the two major goalkeepers and the rusty musa.

Those asking for the coach to pair ajayi and awaziem should ask themselves if those two can be trusted in the future as the preferred defense pair. When we have serious world cup qualifier soon, they are demanding an irrelevant experiment that we all know won’t yield any result.

The experiment rohn did with his left back was very wonderful. Collins did well, no wonder he was the first sub for the evening, if Collins messed up today, he would be saying bye bye to the team..

This team is competitive, everyone wants to keep his spot, which resulted in the seriousness showed by the players in both games..

  • Dr. Drey 3 years ago

5 key Benin rep players ruled out for COVID 19. Well played S/L….LMAO.

I said something like this earlier on like play like joke and not up to 24hrs later its already happening. When we are not turning off stadium light, we are making opponents sleep at the airport….when we are not doing that, we are putting them in mosquito infested hotels….when its not that we are using fake COVID results to weaken our opponents and wen that one no do us we add bendel insurance to am.

    Africa my Africa
