I Made The Right Decision To Play For Nigeria Ahead Of England – Aina

Super Eagles defender, Ola Aina has revealed that he has no regret choosing the Super Eagles of Nigeria ahead of the Three Lions of England.

Aina was impressive in the team’s 1-0 victory over the Squirrels of Benin in Porto-Novo in a 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on Saturday.

The Nigerian international who is expected to feature against the Crocodile of Lesotho in today’s game at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos, told journalists that he’s delighted to have made the right decision to play for Nigeria.

“ I can’t wait to play in another major tournament with the Super Eagles and bring joy to Nigerians. The national team means so much to the people here, No regrets or whatsoever.

“It is for now one of the best decisions I have taken in my career. In several ways playing for Nigeria has made me a better player”,

Kindly share this testimony to Tosin your clubmate and that one that has gone to sit on the England U21 bench….LMAO…and he still dreams he will ever be a 3 lions star…LMAO

  • MY BROTHER IM YET TO SEE A GOOD AND QUALITY PLAYER WHO DECIDED TO SWITCH NATIONALITIES AND REPRESENT NIGERIA EVER REGRET IT. FROM ANIECHEBE, IWOBI, LEON, TROOST, MOSES V ETC SOME OF THEM ARE NATION CUP CHAMPIONS WHILE OTHERS HAVE EARNED MEDALS AT OLYMPICS OR AFCON ALL BECAUSE THEY REPRESENTED NIGERIA. SOME OF THEM WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN HEARD OF IN INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALL IF THEY HADNT PLAYED FOR NIGERIA SO THERE IS NOTHING TO REGRET. I LOOK AT PLAYERS LIKE EZE, NONI WHO RAN TO THE ENGLISH U21 TEAM FOR THE EURO COMPETITION. EZE IS NOT EVEN A STARTER THERE AND NONI PLAYED JUST A GAME. SO FAR THEY ARE ON THE BRINK OF BEING ELIMINATED HAVE LOST THEIR TWO GROUP GAMES. WHERE WILL THAT LEAVE THEM, WILL THE ENGLISH SENIOR TEAM CALL PLAYERS WHO COULDN’T GET OUT OF THEIR GROUP IN AN AGE GRADE COMPETITION? NIGERIA WANTED THEM BUT THEY TURNED DOWN OUR ADVANCES.
FELIX AGU ALSO HAD A SIMILAR EXPERIENCE, BUT HE CHOOSE THE GERMAN U21 TEAM, FUNNY , HE DIDN’T EVEN MAKE THE TEAM. WHERE IS HE NOW?
IM GRATEFUL ATLEAST OLISE HAD THE COURAGE AND BOLDNESS NOT TO BE LURED BY EITHER FRANCE OR ENGLAND TO PLAY FOR THEIR YOUTH TEAMS. HE KNOWS HE STANDS A BETTER CHANCE OF BEING NOTICED INTERNATIONALLY IF HE PLAYS FOR NIGERIA. HE WILL WALK STRAIGHT INTO THE SUPER EAGLES MAIN TEAM AND THE SAME HONOUR WAS EXTENDED TO THE OTHER PLAYERS. .ALL THE SAME I WISH THEM WELL. I HOPE ALL THE PLAYERS WHO ACCEPT TO SWITCH NATIONALITIES AND REPRESENT NIGERIA, WILL CONTINUE TO HAVE NO REGRETS DOING SO.

My friend, you nailed it. Saka will always regret the day he refused to play for his father’s land. He is only 19, yet his games are over before they even started. English folks are now calling him Monkey anywhere he goes. Nigerians would have adores him.
