Liverpool, Newcastle Willing To Sign €50m Bayern’s Gravenberch

Newcastle United and Liverpool are reportedly ready to offer €50 million for Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch ahead of the summer transfer window.

According to a report on Tuttomercatoweb.com, Liverpool and Newcastle United have contacted Bayern Munich about a potential summer transfer move for Gravenberch. The two Premier League sides are prepared to invest €50 million for the 20-year-old midfielder. Manchester United are also said to be interested in him.

Gravenberch has had a trying time playing for Bayern Munich since he arrived at the Bundesliga side last summer. The Dutch midfielder had an outstanding start to his professional career with Ajax, making him a highly sought-after player in the transfer market. However, he has just few contributions for the Bavarian giants this season.

He has featured in 30 games across all competitions this season. However, he has only played 820 minutes, an awful total for a potential top midfielder.

Three Liverpool midfielders will leave as free agents during the summer transfer window. While the fates of Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are still up in the air, James Miner will most likely join Brighton & Hove Albion.

Additionally, this season, Jordan Henderson and Fabinho have had trouble reaching their usual performance levels. Thiago Alcantara, however, has had to struggle with a string of injuries this season.

Gravenberch has been seen as an ideal signing for the Reds who are willing to part ways with 50 million Euros to secure his services.

According to recent reports, Bayern Munich won’t consider any offers for the player. The Bundesliga champions will take in a nice profit on their summer investment if they can get up to €50 million.
