Lookman Fails To Help Atalanta End Trophy Drought As Juventus Secure 15th Coppa Italia Title

Ademola Lookman was in action for Atalanta who lost 1-0 to Juventus in the Coppa Italia final on Wednesday.

An early goal from Dusan Vlahovic sealed Juventus’ 15th Coppa Italia title.

Lookman played for 90 minutes but could not inspire his side to victory.

Juventus and Atalanta had met in the final of the Coppa Italia in 2021 which the Bianconeri won 2-1.

Wednesday’s defeat means Atalanta have only ever won one trophy in their history which was the Coppa Italia in 1963.

Meanwhile, Atalanta could still end their trophy drought when they face Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League final.

Leverkusen were recently crowned Bundesliga champions for the first time in their history.

The German club, who are unbeaten in 50 games in all competitions this season, will face Kaiserslautern in the German Cup final.
