Atalanta winger Ademola Lookman on Friday presented his CAF Player of the Year award to Nigeria’s number one citizen Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Tinubu, who was on a two-day visit to Lagos received Lookman at the government house.
Also in attendance are Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Chairman, National Sports Commission, NSC, Mallam Shehu Dikko and Senior Special Assistant to the President on Grassroots Sports Development, Adeyinka Adeboye.
Lookman returned to the country early this week following the conclusion of the 2024/25 Serie A season.

The 27-year-old was crowned Africa’s best player in Marrakech, Morocco in December 2024.
The talented winger starred for Nigeria at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire, scoring three times and providing one assist in seven appearances.
He was also instrumental in Atalanta’s UEFA Europa League triumph.
Lookman scored a historic hat-trick in the final victory over Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen.
The former Leicester City player racked up 20 goals and seven assists in 40 appearances for La Dea in the recent campaign.
