Madueke Targets Spot In England’s 2022 World Cup Squad

Madueke Targets Spot In England’s 2022 World Cup Squad

PSV Eindhoven Nigerian star Noni Madueke has revealed he is targeting a call-up to England squad for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar next winter.

Madueke enjoyed a breakthrough season at PSV last season, scoring nine goals and registering eight assists in the previous campaign, while he has began this term with four strikes in his opening four matches.

The 19-year-old picked up his first Three Lions Under-21 cap in March and is also eligible to play international football for Nigeria, but revealed he wants to feature in the World Cup next year.

He told The Sun: “You never know how football goes. I try to take every day as it comes. My bread and butter is my club.

“If I’m winning games with my club, if I could be at the World Cup in 15 months, it would be great.

“There’s been no contact at the moment from them (England). The time for those decisions to be made I don’t think is now.”

Madueke is not the only young English player to weigh up a decision between Southgate’s Three Lions and Nigeria in recent years, with Bukayo Saka facing a similar decision before his rise to stardom for England.

The 19-year-old Arsenal forward was called up to Southgate’s squad last autumn after some excellent displays for Arsenal and his string of Three Lions appearances towards the end of 2020 ruled him out of switching to Nigeria later in his career.

Saka would go on to play a starring role in England’s Euro 2020 campaign earlier this summer, with Madueke looking up to the Arsenal star in recent months.

Speaking about Saka, Madueke added: “We played against each other all the time in the youth teams. He was always a great player, very efficient in front of goal.

“The game came easy to him. He was like a fish in water. I’m happy for what he’s doing right now.

“England had a great balance and a great team spirit, it seemed from the outside. They did the whole nation proud.

“It was unfortunate how it ended but it was a solid foundation to build on and try to win the next World Cup.”

Madueke was on the books at Tottenham before signing a three-year contract at PSV in 2018, despite a similar offer to join the Manchester United academy.

He made his first professional appearances for the senior side during the 2019-20 season and his PSV record now sits at 13 goals in 36 career appearances.

The winger has been linked with a summer move to Premier League sides Leicester City and Crystal Palace in recent weeks.

  • Thank you for coming out straight Jare. At least you are sincere about your mind. We can only wish you well on your international chosen path.

    • Yes o. Players in his category should be coming out clean early like this, so we can always quickly separate the wheat from the chaff – rather than playing cat and mouse plus ping pong with us and Pinnick taking srlf-deceiving photo-ops with them.

After all, it’s not that we don’t have some silky, homegrown talents too (either playing abroad, NPFL or in the academies here). But sometimes we get too obsessed with the glitter outside and fail to notice the diamond already in the backyard.

When you see these boys not even associating themselves with Nigeria even if it is just for a glimpse of hope for their shaddow to sit on England bench… While guys born in Nigeria without a tenth of the opportunity these ones have doing their utmost to be considered by Nigeria team selectors and yet… lots of Sabi Sabi fans insulting them and pulling them down… that they are using national team to sell themselves to the world you will just know we love to disgrace ourselves as a nation… Our USA 94 teams exception of Efan Ekoku… I don’t see who was playing in the so called top 5 league then… yet we were able to mix it at the highest level… Iwuala made a move to Esperence and nogooders wanted to kill and Shame him instead of stand by him and encouraging him… We go learn.

    • OmoEsan 3 years ago

      Oga Jimmy Ball, I greet you sir. Point of correction on your opinion on the USA ’94 team. A good number of those guys played in the top 5 leagues ooo, but you just claimed that only Efan Ekoku did. Check out this list;

Victor Ikpeba – AS Monaco, France.

Mutiu Adepoju – Racing Santander, Spain

Wilfred Agbonivare – Rayo Valecano, Spain

      Samson Siasia – Nantes, France

Austin Okocha – Eintracht Frankfurt, Germany

Efan Ekoku – Norwich City, England.

Not to talk of those that played in Belgium, Holland and Portugal, all well fancied leagues from that era till date.

The USA “94 team was not just tick for nothing, those guys played in top leagues, and there was no quota for home based, despite the fact that our league as at ’94 is miles better than the charade we call a league now.

Thompson Oliha and Emmanuel Amuneke were the only guys not playing in Europe that made it to USA ’94, yet they were not home based and they made the cut purely on merit.

Let’s stop this clamour for home based quota in SE, it won’t get us anywhere.

      • Dr. Drey 3 years ago

Hahahahaha….awesome reply @ omoesan. How on earth did I miss this comment ridden with fallacies. 18 out of the 22 guys we took to USA where playing in any of France, Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Belgium or England with ZERO HOMEBASED players in the squad……at a time our league was producing continental champions or finalist for 10 straight years back-to-back and players were swapping the league club jerseys for European club jerseys in the space of 1 week.

These are the leagues I asked their Most-Senior-advocate-in-chief to tell us which of his MANY TALENTS have been able to move straight to in 10 years and he still cant comprehend the question till tomorrow…..LMAOOo….trying to spell out the letters of the word ‘move’ to us instead as if we are dullards. But it is in 2021 when our league clubs struggle to make group stages (3rd round) of continental competitions with their MANY TALENTS that we must reserve 4 slots for them in the national team……LMAOOooo.

        From the same league that used to transfer players straight to Europe or Europe via North Africa in the 90s, on conclusion of the league in 2021;
Best defender – Trials at Orlando pirates
Previous season’s top scorer – Signs for Saudi Arabian 3RD DIVISION club
MVP and Overall best (according to his media PR managers) – Esperance.
with little or none having been able to proceed upwards to Europe from North Africa in close to a decade.

And people who have no shame want us to roll out the drums and throw a party. Eye never see NPFL player wey move go Tunisia before. Tunisia the the likes of Emeka Okafor, Ugochukuw Obiakor, Victor Ezeji, Kingsley Eduwo, Tony Edjormarigwe etc all moved to without any media hype or quota system invitations to the national team……LMAOOooo…..that’s where somebody just moved to and the whole country should let out a cry of joy and victory for….LMAOooo

      • Ayphillydegreat 3 years ago

Thank you OmoEsan for brandishing the facts. Lmao only Efan Ekoku played in the top 5 leagues in the 94 squad. Maybe JimmyBall started watching the SuperEagles after USA 94 Lmaooo!! Sometimes it’s better to proofread your comments before hitting the send button. A lot of people are very smart here. Lmao!

      • JimmyBall 3 years ago

@OmoEsan… ok good. we all know these facts… from Tunisia ’94 to USA’94 how many games Ikpeba, Efan, and Agbonivbare play for Nigeria. Hahahaha… Siasia spent about two seasons in France with Nantes and was wedged permanently on the bench by French International Patrice Loko… how many games Siasia play for him time with Nantes? At USA’94 he played I think just against Argentina even though he is very good… it was Amuneke, Finidi, Yekini, Amokachi that did most of the yeoman job for us… were they playing in top 5 league? Even Ikpeba you listed above and Efan Ekoku no the see match with their top 5 league status… Ikpeba really began playing games for Super Eagles after Atlanta ’96 even though he was shooting fireworks at Monaco… Okocha himself at USA ’94 was not starting all games… you guys go check. It was Efan that was occasionally handed games to help yekini but even at that… he will draw 5 offside in a single match because of kick and follow… Ohenhen who was doing so well in Compostella, Spain was often ignored just like Ricky Nwobuokiri… I did not mention the likes of Ikpeba, Okocha and Agbonibasket because them no the see match like that… so @Dr.Drey and gang… dont start capering in excitement as though you have scored a knockout punch on me… on this same forum some people curse Nwakali for playing in segunda and not being good enough and thus does not warrant Super Eagles invite but… Marcus Abraham at same level was invited and yet Top 5 league Halleluja singers lost their voice to shout that down when it came time… we all know wetin dey abeg. The homebased you mock today… baba, tomorrow you shall mock no more… Iwuala carry go… go to Tunis and do damage… go there and harass defenders as you know how to do best… God punish Devil… hahahaha!

        • OmoEsan 3 years ago

@Jimmyball, unfortunately your rag tag comment above meant to defend your position is still riddled with lies.

1.’ how many games Siasia play for him time with Nantes? At USA’94 he played I think just against Argentina even though he is very good…’

Contrary to your opinion, Siasia was actually a starter in our first 3 matches in USA ’94 and scored a beautiful goal against Argentina.

          2. ‘Ikpeba really began playing games for Super Eagles after Atlanta ’96 even though he was shooting fireworks at Monaco…’

That’s another lie of yours above. Are we talking about the same Victor Ikpeba that played as a sub against Egypt at Tunisia 94 AFCON? The same Ikpeba that scored a beautiful goal against Uzbekistan in Tashkent during the 1995 Afro-Asian cup? I’m sure we aren’t talking about the same Victor Ikpeba.

          3. It was Efan that was occasionally handed games to help yekini but even at that… he will draw 5 offside in a single match because of kick and follow…

Yet another lie. My dear brother, Efan Ekoku did not step on the pitch for even one second at USA ’94. Efan Ekoku handed games to help Yekini? I laugh in my local dialect.

          4. You probably forgot that Wilfred Agbonivare manned the post in most of our matches during the qualifiers before Peter Rufai returned to claim number one spot, yet you claim Willy wasn’t getting games.

5.”Siasia spent about two seasons in France with Nantes and was wedged permanently on the bench by French International Patrice Loko… how many games Siasia play for him time with Nantes?”

I wonder why a player that was capped 40 times by Nantes in two seasons will be described as permanently wedged on the bench. Very funny of you Jimmyball.

The way and manner you rush to defend your views with unfounded facts and rumours is amazing, but we’re good with it, cuz you entertain us with your vibes on this forum.

        • Ayphillydegreat 3 years ago

Contrary to Ikpeba started playing for the SuperEagles after Atlanta 96. Ikpeba has been playing for the SuperEagles since Senegal 92. He was the youngest member of the squad then and featured in some games along with Finidi. Oga we no be bọlọ for here. If na after 94 you started watching the SuperEagles let us know so we can continue dishing you the facts.

      • OmoEsan 3 years ago

@Dr Drey & Aphylidgreat, thank you joor! I was also surprised that the unguarded comment came from someone who claims he carries all football facts in his mind and never consults Google for facts.
Before we say jack he will say we didn’t play football and so we cannot make comment , as if CSN was only created for those that claimed to play as ‘affiliates’.

        • Dr. Drey 3 years ago

Hahahaha…..affiliates who carry in their minds facts that cannot be found on google…..LMAOOoo.

Just look at the whataboutries he now started vomiting after being busted….LMAOoo…as if most of our players were 38 matches per season players in their clubs in Europe back then……LMAoooo.

          • OmoEsan 3 years ago

Just like someone said earlier, I think our affiliate started watching football after USA ’94, cuz those facts he claims to carry in his mind are either non existent or distorted.

  • JimmyBall 3 years ago

Noni Madueke… If no be condition wey make crayfish bend… Should we as a nation be begging this one to even play for us? When we ready to ride and die for those wey truly be our own… we go tell ourselves the truth! Na so Akpoguma do until him see say Germany no send am, him come do u-turn, but him own good becuase he always openly honestly said Nigeria was second option for him… The ones like Ike Ugbo, Sheyi Ojo, Lookman Ademola and Ovie Ejaria wey don gree to play for us… How much push is our coach and administrators doing to ensure we begin to have them called up to draw envy from these ones who will die to sit on England bench…

  • @Jimmyball, I can feel your anger about the whole thing. I want to believe if all the decision to select player lies with Rohr he would have push harder for those guys you mentioned.

But that was not the case as well have some element who are fighting again the wishes of that man.

Sometimes man needs to allow God to confound the wisdom of men so that, His own foolishness can be glorify. That is exactly what happened with that useless friendly match we play against mexico with homemade.

If you notice, noise of homebase inclussion in the national team has died down a little bit.

More also the recent happening with Olympic shows the level of rottenness in how we administer things in Nigeria.

Am not here saying home base are not good but presently we just don’t have home base team that can deliver truth be told.

However because of money even at the expense of Joy of fans some are ready to frustrate coach about the selection.

They have been able to brain wash Dare hence the recent, unterrances and bad decision the guy is making.

  • JimmyBall 3 years ago

@Yinkus I get you… I believe we have enough good and quality players based abroad to always prosecute our consequential games… but we must at the same time always be on the lookout for YOUNG players who could be exciting and potentially sound from the league… just one or two at a time to be called up to camp with the main guys… it will go along way to raise the level of competition in our local league no matter how unprofessional the league may seem now… I don’t subscribe to saying we should invite more than two homebased at any given time to camp… they have to be players seen to be visibly young and quality with promise to develop later… It will go along way to raise the level of our league… I don’t see why we cannot call up 25players (23foreign pros and 2 homebased) whenever we camp in Nigeria…

    • Whether the 2 home base worth it or not, we should just invite them… Hmm, I understand. Small time, u will be comparing the present state of our football to 27-30 years back. Get the picture u took back in 1994 and compare with your present look Or if you have a lady born back in 1994, plz tell her to go and marry Before its too late i.e if it’s not too late already. Aghahowa was playing for esoerance , Yekini played in Abidjan all those funny stories…. Mchew.
IThis is Super Eagles Era I beg! Not Green Eagles.

  • @ Jimmy ball you are right in every sense and that is how it ought to be. But the problem is that even the best of the best among the local players be it Junior level or senior level will not get selected unless you have Godfather which could be information local coach/agent, politicians and etc.

During military era where it appear merit still have a little bit of its way we don’t use to have it this bad.

So selection of home base is even not the abominable but the manner and approach.

Hence the high taste for foreign born players.

If sincerity will be added to the selection my brother we treat number raw talent wasting away on everything streets.

  • Sorry about those auto complete from my phone ho. But I hope you get it somehow.

  • Alimamarcus 3 years ago

Nigeria wish you the way you wish yourself.

  • We need to understand that the switch of allegiance of a player from one country to another isnt as easy as we think, especially for players in the uk. There is a rigorous process which can frustrate even the player concerned.
I read an article in owngoalnigeria were an nff official was listing the process and I now understood why most of these players are yet to be cleared. And since the English now know of our interest in their players, they could make things very difficult for any player of English nationality to switch over to play for another country.
I have always said it that we should not focus on players who are yet to switch allegiance but rather focus on building our youth system and discover talents who will grow into great players.
Its not the coaches fault nor NFF that the switches hasn’t been completed.
You cant also blame these young players for choosing the country of their birth as it is the country were they are more comfortable.
So lets focus on the players we have and build on them by discovering young talents and give them the guidance, experience and exposure they need to grow into quality players.

When you read sensible people commenting, even your soul will feel the tranquility they effuse….LMAO. Good one there @sportsfan. Thoughts and opinions like these are rocket science to some people.

    • JimmyBall 3 years ago

@Sportsfan… switch from UK to Nigeria takes forever… how did Germany do it under two weeks with Jamal Musiala, how did Germany do it with Felix Nmecha and Lukas Nmecha? Difficulty in player switch na story for the Gods… FIFA and those FAs just dont respect us as black people period!!! You can believe what you like…

  • Dr. Drey 3 years ago

Hahahahaha….this was somebody’s comment about this same madueke 2 days ago

    JimmyBall 2 days ago
If only we can convince him to play for us… but certainly England will get into his ears and confuse him. Despite the fake love they also have for them… they will continue to favour England over Nigeria… it’s sad. Let’s hope Southgate don’t tie him down anytime soon.

All of a sudden, because his product of media hype has managed to sign for Esperance in North Africa, the eldorado of his MANY TALENTS in the NPFL, he is beginning to hoot around like a monkey high on bananas and suddenly, Noni Madueke has become one we shouldn’t be begging to play for us…….LMAOOooo…just becuase Iwuala signed for Esperance…..LMAOOoo…only God knows what would have happened if he managed to make it to the top divisions of mainstream European leagues that NONE of his mates have made it to in a decade

Pls someone should help us tell his that “if nor be condition wey make crayfish bend” Anayo Iwuala isnt even in the top 10 of Nigeria eligible wingers currently and shouldnt be anyhwere near the SE yet.

Someone should help us tell him that “if nor be condition wey make crayfish bend”, the likes of Akinkunmi Amoo and Paul Omo Mukairu, should be the ones in the national team today based on every other footballing index apart from “homebased”, not their overhyped money-over-career-development-chasing NPFL GOAT, or are those ones foreign borns too…?

Someone should help us tell him unlike his branded starboy, At the age of 19, Noni is not a product of media packaging and quota systems, and is way worth chasing than a 32-35 yr old masquerading as 22. Noni is playing week in week out in the class of a league where NONE of Iwuala’s types have been good enough to play in the last 10 years. Last season alone, he delivered 9 goals and 8 assists in 32 games ACROSS ALL COMPETITONS as a winger. This season he has delivered 4 goals and 1 assist in 4 games already. Iwuala’s season’s best in 4 seasons of professional football is 5 goals and 3 assists, playing with his fellow amateurs. Nigeria as a country has more to gain getting people like Madueke to play for us than forcing quota system products on us.

Minus the foreign borns in the SE today, only Etebo and Ahmed Musa substantially can be said to be products of the league in the last 10 years, Go all accorss European leagues today….even the back water ones, well over 80% of the players making waves are not products of the league….so even if we say we dont want foreign borns, minus quota systems, it is still because of “condition wey make crayfish bend” that Iwuala could even put on our green and white jersey.

If is way cheaper and 100 times more beneficial for us, both in the short and long term, to chase and invest in getting the likes of Madueke than wasting resources on Media prop products like Iwuala…..the Mexico friendly is a big lesson…..plenty of resorces expnded to get global disgrace…..LMAOOOoo.

Most of your so called local talent (with questionable ages) fizzle out after 3-4 years. The moment they cross into North Africa and start experiencing winter, seeing well paved streets and having 24 hrs power supply, they believe they have reached Eldorado and start raising shoulders. Within that period the foreign ones grow from being mere academy players (like Madueke from Tottenha academy) to becoming key members of top clubs…..and you say we shouldnt chase them…?

Where are all the “raw diamonds” NFF and Keshi spent over N1bn to train and expose back then….as recently as just 8 years ago…..? What of the ones Oliseh brought in..? Where are all of them now….? Whereas Sone Aluko who had his debut way back under Amodu is still playing actively and still got a good tranfer in the EFL a few days ago. Balogun who debuted under Keshi is still waxing stronger and getting better with age. Omeruo and Onazi who we thought were “youngsters” back then who should be at their peak by now are already on their way down hill. And you say we should not open our doors to our foreign borns…??? Pls all your “inward looking” since the last 10 years, what has it yielded

If you like dont tell your friends in the state sports councils and the NFF/sports ministry to wake up and face their job of developing sports holistically in the damn country. Look at our national basketball teams (both male and female), they are now dominated by foreign borns, before when we used local “talents” we were always struggling to win Afrobasket, even though we have won the U19 Afrobasket a RECORD SEVEN (7) TIMES…..yes…7 time U19 Afrobasket champions……of course we know why that is….LMAOOoo…anything with U infront is our specialty, with the likes of 30 plus year olds like Iwualas masqurading as teenagers to go bully their nephews’ mates. Now with the foreign borns we now qualify for the World cup and Olympics at will.

Sit down there and be deceiving yourself with a system that operates on outdated precolonial structures, organization and run by incompetent administrators….yet want to force their products into the national team when they are not even in the 10 top Nigeria eligible players worldwide in their positions.

The boy kuku don become foreign based now, we go hear word. Deserving and astronomically far better ones like Ejuke, Abraham, Mukairu, Amoo can take their rightful places in the SE now with the senior members like Simon, Kalu, Iwobi, Musa, Chukwueze and the other betta human beings in the squad. Or are these one foreign borns and not worth chasing too…? Only your Iwuala is worth chasing….LMAOOO…..5 goals 3 assists vs fellow amateurs in all competitions superstar…..LMAO

If no be condition wey make crayfish bend, no be Holland, Belgium, France, Portugal etc our best players dey go straight from home before. People who have no shame are here throwing parties for a transfer to Esperance and want us to join them in their dance of shame….the way their Sports minister too wants us to join him in his dance of shame in celebrating “the best failure we have had in 13 years at the olympics”……LMAOOooo

    • JimmyBall 3 years ago

@Dr.Drey… This Iwuala move pain you o… You calling that young man as a 32-35yrs old suggest how much you hate anyone involved in the NPFL. I have said it… the homebased you mock today… Soon you shall mock no more… Anayo Iwuala go Tunis go punish them joor… People like @Dr. Drey know how to assess player better than Esperence management… Hahahaha! Chai as them talk am… “goat no the get respect and value for grass wey near house”… ball know him people abegi… Lol.

      • Dr. Drey 3 years ago

Hahahaha…..lmao. who has been ranting and bitting everyone about Iwuala for close to 3 days now….? Who even insanely dragged Rohr into Iwuala matter due to fraustration… hurling all sorts of insults at the old man…LMAO. Between you and I who has been shadding everyone that doesn’t want to join him in celebrating NFPL MVP’s move to Esperance when even academy kids from the streets of Nigeria are making it to top leagues in Europe….? LMAOOO. If they had given somebody a cutlass 2 days ago, a lot of the forumites here would have been headless by now……lmaoo….
now he wants to hide his own shame and pains by accusing me of being pained…me that already predicted long ago this guy would end in North Africa and that will be it for him….LMAOoo….pls try again later. When Dr.Drey made the prediction then they all came down on Dr.Drey like a swarm of bees, claiming he is good enough for French and Spanish leagues…..LMAOooo..A player who isn’t even half as good as Ejike Uzoenyi who couldn’t even cut it with Rennes B……LMAOoo. It seems some people can’t stand their own embarrassment anymore and are now looking for who to rub it on….LMAOooo.

Even a “dead” Ahmed Musa could still get a move from Kano pillars straight to Turkey despite being clubless for months….they must be blind for not seeing Superstar Iwuala next door….LMAO.
Olympiakos needed a Nigerian winger, they didn’t see Iwuala, they saw Onyekuru instead….their sporting directors must be dumb….LMAO. But former “affiliates” see him as the one deserving of a super eagles shirt ahead of the rest….LMAOooo.

Someone should please look at that person in the Esperance jersey once again and tell us frankly and verily that that person is under 30.

Bloody liars think they can fool the entire world…..they want to shave our heads while we are awake. LMAOoo.

Even if he were to be the 22 year old he claims, is he Madueke’s mate in the game of football…? Can he set foot where Madueke has set foot even in the next 5 years of his career….? LMAOOO.

We talking footballers, they are telling us about football players…..LMAOoo.

At least they’ve bragged that Esperance will “polish” him…. let’s pray they wouldn’t use the same type of polish they used on Junior Lokosa….LMAO…it’s bad enough his international career is now dead and buried now that he is no longer homebased. It would be worse if in 2 years time, we hear him scrambling for game time in Zambia or Zimbabwean league. We can’t afford another Lokosaic…sorry collosal waste.

      • Dr. Drey 3 years ago

Even this thread that is purely about NONI MADUEKE, they still managed to drag Iwuala into it and turned it to a discuss.

Yet they claim it it’s Dr.Drey that is pained about what he already predicted months ago…..LMAOooo.
Abeg who get aspirin here….we need to help somebody get over his drunken state.

        • JimmyBall 3 years ago

We drag Iwuala into it because you like to insult players wey the play professionally for Nigeria NPFL and North Africa while daydreaming and singing Halelujah to foreign borns who don’t even want to think about representing Nigeria… If Iwuala who only started playing professionally in NPFL two years ago is 35yrs according to you @Dr.Drey… how old then is your sheik Musa who played NPFL ten years ago and claiming 28yrs
with three wives? Lol… ground a player just because you in your small mind think they are not good enough… You must know more than the seasoned football administrators at Esperence of Tunis… and when you are checked with a smackdown… you try to confuse people by making the discourse one of Iwuala vs Madueke… the difference between Noni and Iwuala is that while one is born in UK the other was born in Nigeria but Iwuala is already a full international while Madueke like others who will prefer one cap in a useless friendly match against Andorra and the likes of Gibraltar than a lifetime roll with Nigeria continue to dream for their one cap career with three lions… Hahaha. Iwuala show them pepper for Tunis… Carry go!

Now who was day dreaming and wishing we can get foreign borns to play for us…? LMAOoooo. Thank God CSN doesnt not delete people’s comments even after 10 years.
Kindly show us where Dr.Drey insulted anybody before you, out of frustration and pain-in-heart, dragged Iwuala into a thread that has ZERO to do with Iwuala, yet claiming it is Dr.Drey that is feeling pained…..LMAOOooo.

Even a 50 year old Musa is more useful to any team than your ‘night goods’ superstar who has been playing professional football for 4 years now….first with delta force, kada city and then Enyimba….Otherwise, one team will not agree to fork out $220k per month for him. At least trying to lie to us that he is truly 28years of age…..unlike some people who think the rest of the world are too blind to see the over 30yr old masquerading as a 22 year old. LMAOoooo.
Esperance has gained reputation in recent times to be a cemetery for NPFL players…..better start climbing mountain for your ‘night market’ so that the long-throat that made him betray Pinnick and go cashing money rather than career development will not haunt him. Na pepper wey he nor show anybody for Naija league naim he was show for Tunisia…? LMAOOoooo. People who have pepper to show are showing it in the Eredivisie and European competitions at the age of 19 already, with 17 goal contributions in 32 appearances in a season…yet some “22 year olds” cant even produce half of that against fellow amateurs in a season….LMaoooo…Abeg someone should come and teach me how to laugh in Arabic. I need to start learning ahead of time now, before Esperance realize they’ve just acquired another “night market” like Lokosa.

          • Dr. Drey 3 years ago

And lest I forget, did Ahmed Musa not leave from the NPFL straight to Europe about 10 years ago (after scoring 18 goals in one season as a winger)…..and still repeated same feat (NPFL to Europe) over a decade later, as “aged” as he is and even after a 3rd marriage…? Yet some “22 year old winger” can barely boast of 18 career professional goals yet in 4 seasons of professional football….LMAOOo….talk more of crossing the Mediterranean sea…??? LMaoooo.
Abeg, football truly know in people abeg.

          • JimmyBall 3 years ago

@Dr.Drey… yes I said if only we can convince Noni, we all know he is good… but the fact is that he is flatly not interested in Nigeria… so in that sense, Iwuala is more useful to Nigeria than ten Noni Madueke put together… let him continue to try and dream… lol, he will get his one cap against Andorra and be done with… @Dr.Drey… help us give Noni Madueke Tomori and Abraham number… hahaha. Na we the make their head big…

          • Dr. Drey 3 years ago

Hahahahaha…so after all your lies and being busted…

“..Noni Madueke… If no be condition wey make crayfish bend… Should we as a nation be begging this one to even play for us…”

            “Iwuala move pain Dr.Drey”

            ” Dr.Drey daydreaming about Madueke”

You now finally settled for your earlier wish and desire in your hearts of hearts that we be able to get the boy because even your own conscience refuses to be lied to by you any further…….LMAOOOO

Let me break some bad news to you Mr ‘I carry all football in my mind and dont need to consult google’,

Kevin Akpoguma said same only about 2 years ago….today he is a full Nigerian international. Ademola Lookman said same about 2 years ago too, today only a Nigerian passport is what is standing in his way to becoming a SE player. The likes of Agu and Torunarigha have said the same, but watch out for when camping for 2022 WC commences till you see them in the SE like a thief in the night. Shola Ameobi even said more than that, but ended his career with world cup appearances in a Nigeria shirt. So cut short your jubilation….Iwuala isnt even amongst the top 10 Nigeria eligible wingers and ordinarily would get a SE invite if he werent filling a homebased quota, and doesnt look like joining that class until the next 2-3 years a nationality switch by Noni will become statutorily impossible. So I dont see how Iwuala is more useful to Nigeria…..when he hasnt even be useful to Nigeria in the 5 matches used to advertise him to give him the “Nigerian International” toga in order to pad up his market value. It will take a miracle of multiple proportions for your boy to get anywhere near the SE camp for at least another 5 years….no be curse…or you don forget since how many years ago you don dey nack head for wall on behalf of your junior ajayi…??? LMAOOoo. Ok.

Iwuala is more useful to us than 10 maduekes….LMAOoo…wait till the next 23man SE list is released to see how many foreign borns will make the list ahead of your home based MANY TALENTS who are already out on trials all over Africa and lower divisions in the middle east, that is when you will understand that 15 Maduekes will make the SE list before 1 Iwualas will smell the super eagles camp.

Even the minister who was ranting 4 homebased before has started sending panic signals to NFF after leading us to a disgrace at the olympics, to take the world cup qualifiers seriously. Let us see where they will squeeze their 4 homebased players during world cup qualification.

  • Brilliant! That is how it should be . Madueke has come out early enough to unveil his focus and dream so that Nigerians will not be miscalculating the math’s before the examination. But I must quickly add here that he should look before leaping because the landing may be injurious. Tammy boy should be in a better position to advise him, maybe Tomori could be of great help too.
I am just excited as FIFA has cleared Ovie Ejaria, I think he can be the creative show boy that could hold the centre for the Nigerian Super Eagles. In as much as I do not want to join the chorus of how the present Super Eagles coach has performed so far, I think by now, he should have a clear cut pattern he wants to play and the boys to execute it. I can boldly say right now, Nigeria has the weapons in her armoury to shoot down any team in Africa for a start and go-ahead to do well globally. The young team should grow…or am I asking for too much? Let them grow and begin to perform.

  • @Sportsfan thank you. @Dr. Drey. When are we going to stop this homebased and foreign based nonesense. You want to continue bro get the coach confused? I don’t think rohr is that stupid.

Now the homebased star of yesterday, iwuala is now foreign based. Rohr must start again. When a homebased plays two minutes, he is looking to become foreign based in Cyprus or Lesotho. We start again. Can you leave the coach to do his job and select whomever he seems fit.

Dare was foolish like other ministers in the past. You don’t force homebased when you are not doing anything to improve your your own league. You are not doing anything to stop homebased from prematurely running abroad.

As for the dreamer, Madueke, we wish you the best in your dreams. I can bet you won’t beven sit on the bench of England and even Nigeria..who do you want bench I Nigeria

  • Every Player who has Nigerian blood in his veins has the God given right to stake a claim to the national team…….This is one of the reasons some of this foreign born player don’t turn up because of sentiment in selection….. It happens mostly in the age grade teams because they are still mixed together and you can’t spot the real talents easily…..The coaches drop super talented players for local content players of inferior talent of questionable ages…..Alaba’s case was just one in hundreds of cases like that….. When the player is so talented like Alaba they request for bribe to select them knowing fully well that they won’t get a dime again from such player when he makes a club move…..This practice is been whispered among most foreign born players and it discourages most of them from coming down to play for us because they know they won’t get a fair treatment from the country they want to represent….. Merit is the key….No matter where you are from, you should be judged only on your capability…..The national team is not meant to promote a player’s career but the player’s career is meant to promote the national team…. simple

  • JimmyBall 3 years ago

USA 94 was almost thirty years ago… If I make mistake about Siasia it can be excused. Anyone can consult Google and Wikipedia easy but my mistakes are because I use muscle memory where some use Google… but because I said Siasia may have played just Argentina does not remove the truth in my asking to you guys… Okocha was never a started… Checked right! How many games Wilfred Agbonivbare play? Checked… Zilch… what about Ikpeba? Checked Zilch! Again… Siasia was for the large parts of his Nantes stay rooted to the bench for Patrice Loko… He was frustrated from there because of that… If over two seasons at Nantes a player played 40games out of a possible 76games what should that tell anyone? That the player was largely sitting on the bench… So what is wrong in saying Siasia was for the most parts wedged to the bench by Patrice Loko… mind you, then there was no way he could have benched Loko who was not only top scorer but a starter for France then… So if Siasia who is claimed to have been a big top 5 player at USA 94 was a bench Warner at Nantes… when he played there… what then is the significance of his top 5 league status as being part of USA 94… no doubt Siasia was almost then the most elegant player for Super Eagles… he had finesse and clean dribbles with enviable bow legs… but all that does not take away the fact he was on bench for the greater part of his stay at Nantes… I do not need to consult Google for that because I was watching European leagues on satellite then… We could count how many folks had access to satellite and not just NTA then… Lol. So to say we had regulars who played at USA 94 and Tunisia 94 with most players outside top 5 league then will still be correct… I said Ikpeba became more involved in Super Eagles after Atlanta 96 means beforw then he was a part of the team but was always on the bench… there was Elaho before him, and when he came on, Amuneke was still benching him… it was Ikpeba and Amuneke westerhoff always listed on the left wing in squad list… Reading comments make me laugh how some people just want to do everything to prove that I am lying… So funny, you want to catch me on Siasia but that Okocha was not starting games at USA 94 checked right abi? What about Agnonivbare? So Efan Bench, Ikpeba bench, Okocha bench, Wilfred bench… What then was the collosal contribution of our top 5 league squad members? Make person rest joor…

    • OmoEsan 3 years ago

@Jimmyball, so you left the thread where you displayed your lies to come and continue your defense here! I laugh in my local dialect once again.

Why didn’t you continue your defense on that thread up there? So that others won’t see your initial lies and how we slammed you abi!

Pele ooo. Don’t worry we will leave you to rest.

    • Ayphillydegreat 3 years ago

So between you and Wikipedia who should we believe?? Who is more reputable between you and Wikipedia?? From now on we should only depend on your muscle memory Lmao!! I laugh in Ibibio. Bro we are not that stupid here. Maybe that’s why most of your lieutenants have left you alone to be wandering around the forum. They know there’s nothing for them to say at this point until maybe the SuperEagles draw an inconsequential match that’s when they will come out as if they’ve been struck by leprosy. Oga I’ll rather follow info from wiki and google who have been enormously reputable than depend on your muscle memory no disrespect just my own two cents. Lmao!!

      • @Ayfiil. I don’t want to join in this discussion. But I want to correct you here. Google and Wikipedia content are supplied by people like you. So they can be wrong. Not all info on google are right. Google does not provide content. We do. Google deos not even cross check these contents except there are lots of complaints.

        • Ayphillydegreat 3 years ago

If Google and Wikipedia contents are supplied by people like me then I have no problem depending on their facts than a muscle memory Lmao!!

    • @Jimmyball things have changed. How many African players are playing in too 5 leagues then. You want the same situation in those days to happen now? Common…things have changed.

Because siasia played 40 games out 76 does not make him a bench warmer. 40 out 76! Good number. So many factors must have contributed to the remaining matches he missed… Can you tell us those factors.

Okocha was a solid part of the super eagles before USA 94 and even at USA 94. He was a strong member at 94 nations. I hope you watched the matches. Westerhof usually don’t use okocha in some matches because of tactics reasons.

Okocha can’t be called a bench warmer.

You were wrong too. Ikpeba never really was considered a left winger for super eagles but a striker.

He gained acceptance into eagles when he was playing as striker for Monaco. He was not really seen as a left winger or deputy to ammuneke. With this there was no way he would start at USA 94 with yekinini there.

I am not sure if ikpeba was nations cup 94 now. Now ifnhe was there then he should have played when ammuneke was not playing. Ammuneke played only one game nations cup. This is to show you he was not considered a deputy and a left winger.

I was always at the national stadium surulere to watch their trainings then..

You see you can’t compare them and now. Top 5 leagues was not really relevant then now but it’s today. It’s great if our players play in too 5 leagues now.

      • Prof. Tamuno Offiali 3 years ago

Then you don’t know Ikpeba. I played with Ikpeba at Scotland 89 and he was our left winger. Jide Oguntuase was on the right. Patrick Mancha or Prince Monye Onyeabor were support strikers.

Ikpeba played on the left wing at FC Liege in Belgium. At US 94 he was still at FC Liege with Sunday Oliseh. He only became a top striker when Arsene Wenger converted him at Monaco and that was after US 94. So, yes @Jimmyball is right about Ilpeba being Amunike’s understudy at Us 94. Amokachi and Siasia vied for same support striker’s role whilst Efan Ekoku was Yekini’s understudy.

Even at Atlanta 96’Ikpeba was still a left winger. The strikers were Amokachi, Teslim Fatusi and Nwankwo Kanu. Garba Lawal was a utility player who went cos he could play DM (which he did in that semi finals against Brazil as Oliseh sat out due to a red card or injury (cant remember) earlier.

        • JimmyBall 3 years ago

@Prof. Tamuno Offiali… They will soon say you are my clone just be ready… these guys have been on my case since last night frustrating my sleep… If you dare say anything they don’t approve… you will get it from them. We all need to soon start paying money to @Dr.Drey… @Ayphillydegreat,@OmoEsan before we are allowed to comment on CSN… believe me they will soon ask you to verify yourself for claiming to have played with Ikpeba… they forget CSN is a big forum where former footballers, sports writers and football stakeholders come to read and feel pulses of Nigeria ball fans… Someone cursed me out for saying Ikpeba became a regular in Super Eagles after Atlanta 96 and before then was understudy for Amuneke… how can anyone be able to bench a player like Amuneke he is a tremendously gifted player starring in Barcelona first eleven of the time when great ballers played there… Ikpeba was immensely talented also and was about the youngest in USA 94 squad… Siasia was my best player and FC Nantes bought him from SK Lokeren, one game I can never forget is King Fahd Cup for Continental Champions in Riyahd 1995… against Argentina, Siasia won man of the match and was the best player of that game… that was when he was even playing second fiddle to Patrice Loco at Nantes in a rather unfortunate circumstance as Patrice was Ligue 1 top striker… Now @Prof.Tamuno Offiali… Jide Oguntuase was a player who was as elegant as Kanu Nwankwo but on another level of delight compmetely… if we had good protection for young players because then it was very difficult making it to Europe… guys like Jide ought to have been protected and nurtured properly to Senior Team Level in the ensuing years… that such a start did not make it to Super Eagles tells a lot of tales about how talents fell by the wayside easily in those days… the petit Patrick Mancha, Kayode Keshinro, Bawa Abdullahi and Osundo who was computer before Okocha… some folks here need to hit Google to come at you for arguments just for the fun and exhilaration of being seeing to be some kind self-appointed football oracle and database… hahahaha. I greet you @Prof.Tamuno Offiali… One love!

          • Dr. Drey 3 years ago

Hahahahaaa….Jealousy at its peak. Please tell us the person who appointed himself as football oracle and database. I’ld rather be known to be a football oracle and database than be known to be a chronic liar. Everybody on this forum knows how desperately you desire to be accorded such respect….you would even lie to have played football to the “highest level” just for everyone to swallow your unverifiable innuendos hook line and sinker without questioning your royal majesty….LMAOooo.

Between you and google who should we believe….? Between you and reputable news outlets online who should we believe….? between you and FIFA’s repository of soccer records and bibliography whom should we believe….?

Mr man, Google is just there for verification purposes. It is from our wealth of history and knowledge of the game that we even know where and what to search from google in the first place. Its way better to ensure that what you have in your memory is the correct information than to vomit lies in the public…..and come back to give excuses that it 30 years ago bullshit after being busted.

Because CSN is a big forum where former footballers, sports writers and football stakeholders come to read and feel pulses of Nigeria ball fans is the reason why you should always get your facts right before blabbing fallacies in public.

You claimed Ikpeba was an understudy to amuneke yet he had more caps going into the world cup than amuneke.
You calim Ikpeba was understudy to amuneke yet he went to Senegal 92 whereas amuneke debuted a year later.
You claim Ikpeba was understudy to amuneke yet ikpeba was already shinning in europe when amunike was still at Julius berger. …..LMAOOooo. Ikpeba was understudy to amunike yet he led our lines at the olympics and the 98 world cup. Ikpeba was a left winger yet Amunike got injured vs Italy and he wasnt asked to replace him. Hell are you kidding yourself…? The sheer number of goals Ikpeba scored season in season out, at a time when wingers when traditionally meant to work the bylines and put balls-in into the box for the centre forwards out should tell anyone he wasnt primarily a winger. Even in review of past wingers in the Super Eagles Ikpeba is never mentioned as a winger. Everywhere you search from Ikpeba’s profile he is identified as a striker, and same sources identify Amunike as a winger. But as Mr ‘I carry records in my head’ only to come back and give lame excuses of 30 years blabla after being busted, Ikpeba was a winger and understudy to amunike……LMAOoooo.
And you want to be taken seriously and accorded the magnitude of respect accorded to those who do due diligence, back up claims with hard, verifiable facts and dont distort football history for the public…? LMAOOoo.

Keep your records to yourself, we will rather verify ours
on google first so we dont disgrace ourselves in public like you. That is why we are well respected on this forum, a status everyone knows you would gladly give an eye to have, but which you cannot have.

          • JimmyBall 3 years ago

…I also claimed that Ikpeba mostly never played ahead of Amuneke and at a time it was Friday Elaho on the left for us… If Ikpeba is not Amuneke’s understudy tell us how many games he ever played ahead of Amuneke both at USA 94 and Atlanta 96? But we all know both of them were very good hence they both African Footballer of The Year… I am not like you who knows nothing other than confused stats to come and tell CSN forum that Ahmed Musa remains the best winger NIgeria ever had… ahead of Amuneke, ahead of Finidi, ahead of Babangida and ahead of Ikpeba himself… a guy who was demoted at Leicester City to U-23 and eventually told to “beat it”… hahaha. When you spew bogus posts like Musa is better than Finidi, Amuneke, Ikpeba like you did the last time… your minions will just start fasting and prayers that busters like me on this forum dont check you on that… Musa best winger for Nigeria yet at 28yrs when the likes of Finidi, Amuneke and Ikpeba were lighting up solid leagues and picking up world rated level accolades… he is just suiting up for some grossly obscure team in Turkey… same Turkey where Nwakaeme Anthony, Larry Kayode and Aminu Umar have finished work… comic relief!

@OmoEsan…, @Ayphillydegreat… hahahahaha. Make una go work… nobody the win lotto here for argument. I won’t insult anyone even you two are trying to provoke me… but @Ayphillydegreat… I never lied. I see some of the guys here are jobless and full of hate. Guys go and work… singing hallelujah behind @Dr.Drey won’t pay your bills… how you guys comeout like Wolfpack is funny. @Ayphillydegreat… a guy like you who is so busy in USA and have people on your foundation and philanthropic work in Nigeria should be a very busy man but it surprises me how you now have time to play bully online. I won’t get into fight with you like you do often here… Efan Ekoku (bench) , Austin Okocha (bench) never a started at USA ’94(bench), Wilfred Agbonivbare (bench), Victor Ikpeba (bench)… So if our top 5 league players exception of Samson Siasia and Mutiu Adepoju were nonstarters at USA’ 94 Mundial… then it is clear our outing in that world cup was largely the work of guys who played outside top 5 league… So no one here should set up criterion of player selected they cant uphold and trash the double standards bendung it for some when it’s convenient…. Hahahaha. @Ayphillydegreat… @OmoEsan… Calling me a liar does not take my food from my mouth… Lol. I will advise both of you go off CSN and stop harassing the gentleman @JimmyBall… @Ayphillydegreat… Someone called you a motor mechanic in USA here… but honestly I did not believe that… @Ayphillydegreat I know a lot of people in the USA ’94 work three jobs to pay bills… hahahaha, I know your case is not like that… hahaha. Please make out time for your plilanthropic work you have setup in Nigeria that is employing youths… your attack on me where is almost giving you away as an angry immigrant in the states but I want to believe you are a gentlemen… ok. Let’s us say I lied to make you happy… it will not put money in your bank… @OmoEsan… I the look you with corner eye o… let’s keep it civil guys. @Ayphillydegreat… @OmoEsan… @Dr.Drey… guys one love. Let’s make fun and go at each other but stop short of direct insults… I am not pained by being labeled a liar because I could not remember Siasia’s contribution other than his right game against Argentina at USA ’94 where he scored… I don talk my eye finish and again… I am so happy Anayo Iwuala has left NPFL for a good professional club Esperence of Tunis… I am still popping champagne for the young man and let’s now leave it to our coach to pass judegemet on him now we the fans… I trust Iwualu will continue to put his doubters down even more with this move… @Dr.Drey… It’s not long you were up late night shouting and singing praises to Anayo Iwuala’s name when he delivered a Salvo and laid it on the plate for his team mate to finish Orlando Pirate way into regulation time… yet you come today to beat him down wishing he fails at Esperence… hahaha. Bad belle no the increase person bank account… make you and your team go get busy and stop playing bully… Cheers people!

Oga I no be gentle man at all. I be African man original. Being a philanthropist doesn’t make you a gentleman. Sometimes you must be aggressive to achieve your goals. If you don’t understand go and study the track record of the world billionaires today. Almost none of them can be classified as a gentleman or gentlewoman. If he pain you say I Dey get time to Dey counter your fallacies I’m sorry I can’t help you on that one. OmoEsan has already took you down memory lane with fact so there’s nothing else you can say regarding the 94 team. Of course you don’t have to agree with me neither do I have to agree with you. 1Naija…the phantom fellow who only pops up on CSN to hurl insults when jimmyball has been beaten and battered and cannot bear his humiliation anymore.

Some people really think they can fool everybody everytime.

@Dr.Drey… hahahaha. I am neither @1naija nor @Onenaija… the guy will just be giving you homework all the time… you clone aliases here and think some of us do that too… I dont bounce like that mate… cheers! Esperence of Tunis must be a fool to single out Anayo Iwuala from over 450 NPFL players and splash out on him. It is so egoistic for you to assume you are the only one who knows how to assess players… Since Anayo Iwual’s Esperence move… you just vex like say the guy bang your woman… hahaha. That dude will shock you in the next two years and I will be here to poke you in the face for that when it starts happening… he wont fail at Esperence because you want to… you best believe that homie!

          • Dr. Drey 3 years ago

Hahahahaha….we never consult oracle, dem don begin confess…..LMAOOo….I never said you are one naija or 1 naija, you already went on the defensive. That in itself reveals the truth. See how God take dey catch devil. Since Jimmyball doesnt want to insult, One naija (formerly 1naija) always pops up to do the insulting on his behalf…..LMAOooo…..even if no one else has been involved all along. Some people are really very wise.

All those who claimed Dr.Drey clone aliases till today cannot tell the world particular aliase Dr.Drey clonned…they first started with Oakfield, when they saw he was a completely differnt person, they moved to UBFE, from there to Mr Nice, to Abdul, to Akang to Ola, recently they added Chris to their long list of alleged Dr.Drey aliases, as if I need someone else to convey my thoughts on my behalf on this forum. As God fights the battle of the just, they’ve have all been exposed or exposed themselves severally as being the ones involved in all those rubbish.

Between you and I, who wan kill people on this forum in the last 3 days because of Anayo Iwuala….? Who has been acting as if Anayo Iwuala is his white woman who is being molested front and back with a flaming hot iron rod. Who has gone at daggers drawn against anybody and everybody who doesnt want to acknowledge anayo Iwuala’s tranfer to Esperance as the best thing that has happened to the NPFL since its inception…?

Upon all your noise about Iwuala, you dont even believe that much in him to shock me immediately…..LMAOOO….you are waiting for 2 years for him to shock me….the same 2 years you’ve been waiting for Nwakali to shock me yet in battery still flat like a plateau….LMAOooo. You think Esperance is paying him $45k pm to wait till 2 years to start shocking people…??? LMAOooooo

Who do you think you are fooling…..trying to hide your disappointment that your overhyped mediocre couldnt make it straight to europe with so much braggadocio……LMAOOooo. Its like you’ve spent too much of your life living with village people and people with low IQs that you think we are all like them here……LMAOoooooo

      • JimmyBall 3 years ago

@Ayphillydegreat… It’s very easy for you to attack me which I welcome, I will make a proper correction if I said something that was erroneous… often some comments we make are just a bit of sarcasm just to give fun to submissions… I am a liar for not putting Ikpeba, Agbonivbare, Okocha alongside Efan for their almost zero to limited roles at Tunisia 94 & USA 94 now means I am a liar now… Lol, ok I agree… Samson Siasia started in all our group games… playing almost close to 60minutes plus and going off and did not feature against Italy because he fell out with westerhoff… but Siasia’s most contribution was against Argentina where he capped a good game with a goal… we all know this history or atleast can recall them with a simple Google search… still not directly remembering if Siasia was actually a starter at the world cup was because I did not consult Google to get it exact because I am not interested in being a stickler for winning arguments at all cost… that tournament was almost 30years ago and anyone could become faint on the details of our participation from memory if not checked on Google… What can’t be denied is that Siasia lost his spot to Amokachi at Tunisia 94 and that was still the case at USA 94 and to accommodate him, he was moved to midfield while Amokachi paired Yekini in in a mostly 442 preferred playing system… I only responded to you @Ayphillydegreat because you claimed I was jumping threads to move and switch lies and that this thread about Noni Madueke was not where I started my lies… I will say scroll to the upper page and see that we all contributed here lots of comments already and no one is jumping thread to run and hide… You tried to check me for saying Siasia was rooted to the bench at FC Nantes in France and you and @Dr.Drey stood together with hands clasped like fruity friends singing your usual hallelujahs that how can Siasia who plied about 40games and scored two goals for FC Nantes can be said to be rooted to the bench? Hahahaha… and this is why most forumites have realized some of your have English comprehension problems… someone who is starting from the bench always can be assumed to be rooted to the bench and it would be right to say so… In over 2seasons… Siasia played at Nantes… he was involved in 40games out of a possible 76games… so he sat almost equal games as he played out on the bench… so was he benching Patrice Loko… hell No? So yes he was rooted to the bench by the Frenchman and that’s true and not insulting Siasia who was my favorite player because in built and style… we play similar… So you guys go take a chill pill. I don’t run…

        • Dr. Drey 3 years ago

Hahahaha…going by your fallacy, ALL our players in Europe in the 90s were benchwarmers. Because they mostly averaged 20 games per season. Oliseh played just 75 matches across 4 seasons at Liege. Okocha played just 90 matches in 4 seasons at Frankfurt. Eguavoen played 77 games in 4 seasons for Gent and 90 in 4 seasons for Kortrijk. Iroha played 21 matches in 4 seasons at Vitesse….I can go on and on. Finidi our starboy and most regular in Europe as at then played 85 games in 3 seasons. So if Siasia played 40 out of a possible 76 games in 2 seasons, then he must have been one of the most consistent of the lot.

Majority of our players in Europe in those early years were not super regualars. But the fact that they were playing in the best leagues as at then was the single most important contributor to our qualifying for our first ever world cup and our eventual performance. Even Westerhof dropped the idea of homebased immediately he could muster just enough foreign-based players to raise a team.

Anybody who says the quality of league where national team players play does not matter is a FAT LAIR. You that claimed you were a star in Niaja league nor be ordinary trials you nor fit pass for Europe come dey lie say you get injury….LMAOOoo…you know say you get injury naim you still dey go do trials…? Or the same injury wey gree you play when you be affiliate nor come gree you play when you be trialist…? LMAOOooo. Or the injury nor come heal subsequently for you to continue with your career…??? LMAOOoo

Dont worry, when you become coach, ignore all your best players playing in the best leagues…infact ignore all of them in Europe and go for riff raff players in you NPFL. When they disgrace you 3 times like they disgraced us vs Mexico, your eye go clear, that one na if dem nor even sack you. Go ask Imama how far…..LMAOOoo

@Dr.Drey… You think you are wise. When Enyimba scored after Iwuala forced them through the flank and his team mate scored… You wrote…. “Gooooooooooal… finally on the 9th minutes with the last kick of the game” you stayed up like me to watch it and we were both excited… if your shouting gooooooooal is not in praise of firstly Iwuala’s courageous run on the flank to shoot and square and it fell luckily to that guy who scored from the scramble… then you are not being honest to yourself. I don’t have time to go back to timelines… it appears you your day job is in some capacity with CSN becuase how you have time to go deep into their archives so meticulous is I most say a lot of effort… Still nothing takes away the fact you hailed Enyimba on the night they narrowly but courageously squeezed through and hailing Enyimba means hailing the most Audacious performer on the night… Who is Anayo Iwuala… taking nothing away from the goalgetter though… Cheers! Stay on the substance of a discourse… Patrice Loco had Siasia on the bench for two seasons at Nantes… comprehend English being in the bench does not say Siasia was not playing games… he did play but 98% time from the bench because he was bought as cover for Patrice… but you must win Argument. Never seen a human being like you! After you lied only Musa transferred from NPFL in the last 10years to mainstream Europe league and we pointed you to loads of names… yet you go through another crack to twist facts saying players were moving to B teams… So when Iheanacho was signed to Mancity and started from their Elite Development Team… no be Man City sign am… Hahahaha. Again… Chidi Osuchukwu (Braga), Abduljeleel Ajagun(Panathanaikos), Emem Eduok, Ekigho Ehiosun(Samsunspor) , Ezekiel Bassey(Barcelona), Rabiu Ibrahim(Sporting Lisbon), Ganiyu Osen(CSKA)… I am reminding you of likes of Oseni, Rabiu to remind you that folks have been doing it and will continue to do it… the issue is that if you spit fallacies here your minions will keep. quiet even when you are exposed but when any other person say what you don’t like then they come and queue up behind you to mudsling the person… singing hallelujah behind their their master… Lol. Cheers…

        • JimmyBall 3 years ago

…Samson Siasia played at FC Nantes… from 1993 – !995 season… and these were his stats:

          Squad Involvement: 40

          Starting XI: 16

          Substitute: 24

…so in 1993/1994 season he managed 27 appearnces and in 1994/1995 he manged just 13 appearnces… so over 76games in total spanning over 2seasons he managed just 16starts… and 24substitute appearances… if that is not warming the bench for Patrice Loko, then I only have to say “Lord of Mercy” help @Dr.Drey… hahahaha. But still Siasia was always always an Iconic player anyday… his challenges at FC Nantes does not define his football, it was just a difficult situation because hei challenger… Loko was a goal demon himself… period! @Dr.Drey… oya you don win argument… go and lift your cup! Lol… cheers!

          • Dr. Drey 3 years ago

See human being that lied he doesnt use google and has records stored in his head. Pls was it from the “satellite” that you used in watching the French league in your village in 1993 that you got all these states….? LMAOoooo….and you claim somebody else is desperate at “winning argument”…? As if anybody argued with you before that Siasia was a guaranteed starter at Nantes…? Mr you are the one arguing with yourself, rigmaroling all around just to have comments to post. This news threat was solely about madueke…your desperation, fraustration and directionlesnees and forced you to be cluthing at straws all the way till this point when you have switched it to involving Siasia. That’s what happens when someone is negatively as cunning as a tortoise combining a mixture of lies and off points because he is desperate to defeat “Dr.Drey and his gang”. But even the cup sef you still can never lift, because the cup for lies have already been customized in your name…so kindly go and collect you trophy of lies and switching of lanes to avoid defeat from CSN editors.

Oga…..show us where Dr.drey shouted and sang praises to ANAYO IWUALA’S Name oooooo…….FAT LIAR has been busted once again….LMAOOooo.

So when a team scores and someone shouts gooalll…he is singing praises to the name of a particular player…..LMAOOOo. Please read this nonsese to yourself and ask yourself if your brain was aware of what your fingers just typed……LMAOOo. Not even the name person who scored the goal o…..LMAOooo. So how do you know it was Anayo’s name I was singing praises to…? How come it wasnt the names of Olisema who scored the goal or Farouk who initiated the move I was singing praises to. Bloody liar. See desperation to force lies to be truo. All of a sudden he doesnt have time to go back to timelines….LMAOooo. They always have all the time in the world to tell their lies….but when its time to defend it, like his brother chima, they suddenly run out of time.

Hahahaha…pls show me also where I hailed enyinmba in the comments above…? In the first place….i didnt even shout goal. On the contrary I was so pissed at the way they played that I felt like stoning them all when the match was on. Thank God once again CSN does not delete comments…all my comments are still there for the world to read….and see the fat liar who is desperate to prove Dr.Drey hailed Anayo Iwuala when he NEVER and HAS NEVER done so.

Uncle, which coordination are you talking about…?? The one that didnt test the Opponents goalkeeper for 95 mins…???

Pls show us which of the above comments HAILING ENYIMBA. A match in which even the commentator who wasnt even Nigeria was pissed and annoyed with enyimba, talk more we nigerians who were rooting for the team and hoping to make it out of the group to cover the shame of our league a bit.

And you claim someone else else lacks comprehension…?? You that shuts the part of your brain that interprets English down completely when its time to tell lies….??? Tell us the last NPFL player in a decade since Ahmed Musa to move to top divisions of mainstream European leagues clubs…till today you are still rambling. Tell us which team you have ever seen play a 5 man defense with only 1 natural CB…till today you are still rambling. Show us where Finidi was given the award of Best Winger in the world till today you are still rambling that because he played for ajax and won UCL that makes him best winger in the world….LMAOOO…yet UEFA and FIFA gave their best player awards to someone who wasnt an Ajax player.
One moment you calim you dont consult google (just like you dog Ade/kenneth claimed he knows more than ESPN, BBC and other online news outlets) and the next moment you are posting links from wikipedia…..LMAOoooo. And you claim somebody else lacks comprehension…?

How is it your business if I have a job with CSN, just because I always provide facts and verification to every of my cliams…? Do you have a job with CSN too that you spend so much time telling lies in public and trying to prove what was not…?

Never has anybody here on this forum used the words/phrase “win arguement” except you…that explains your mission here all the time on CSN and why you get frustrated when failure and defeat is beginning to stare you in the face, when you have been battered and busted several times when trying to wriggle your way out with lies and unverifiable statements. To you, everyday you wake up from sleep is another day to go on CSN and try to “win argument” against Dr.Drey.

Till today simple question still hook oversabi for throat…..tell us the last NPFL player in a decade since Ahmed Musa to move to top divisions of mainstream European leagues clubs for 2 months now, he is still scrambling for answers…listing players who signed specifically for B teams in 2nd and 3rd division and greek league players, claiming I lied…LMAOooo…as if we dont know that players have been moving to Scandinavia, Eastern europe and russia before…..LMAOOo. Just simple question, Mr “football bibliography” who doesnt need google but will comeback and give excuses after being busted is still struggling to find answers hanging on to the letters of the word “move”…..LMAOOooo.

Its on the same online forum you are in Dr.Drey is also in, yet he has minions, disciples, followers, people who queue behind him and people who acknowledge him again and again and again, Some others even (foolishly) impersonate him in order to also gain relevance……yet you, with all your “ex-affiliate” bragadocio, arent worth more than a leper on the same forum…..LMAOoooo…with your lap dog always sneaking in at the dead of the night when he finally has access to free wifi to plead with you not to disgrace yourself any further with his usual “dont waste your time replaying the parrot” lines……LMAOOoo.

Everybody on this forum knows just how much of your body parts you would gladly sacrifice to be so recognized on this forum……LMAOOo….What jealousy…!

Hahahaha… Oya go lift cup. Up Nigeria meanwhile na Enyimba the play match… With the way you hate NPFL and everything about the clubs and players… One would even wonder why almighty European Top5 league crusader will watch dirty African Continental Club games sef… When Ahmed Ahmed finally go collect space for Kano Pillars my guy lost him voice… even Rohr said he has turned to player merchant and was looking for club for Musa… @Dr.Drey Mr double standard… Musa was anonymous against Cameroun despite playing over 80 minutes in the second game and rated the poorest 4/10 but rather it was Iwuala who played no more than 10minutes after introduction that got @Dr.Drey’s stuck… he vanished a bit after that game… Should we remind how you kept cursing Onuachu all through last season and he had to slap your mouth shut atleast with his exploits… how you Eulogised Sadiq Umar, a Segunda player though good over Simy Nwankwo who managed to place 3rd in Serie A for most goals scored last season… It’s someone who does not know how you are hypocritical in nature that will take you serious… WE STILL DON’T KNOW YOUR TRUE NAMES OR FACE Since your Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, badoo, 2go,viber and Imo was hacked since 1925 as a doctor(PhD) holder wey you be in this computer and social media age… hahahaha. Below is a link to our squad for Tunisia 94… the same source from Wikipedia listed Finidi as midfielder while listing Amuneke as Forward… Amuneke can also have been listed as a midfielder. We were playing 442 then and everyone knew Efan Ekoku went into that list as the man the play when Yekini isn’t playing… Siasia listed as forward at Tunisia 94 played in midfield at USA 94… these things are not cast in stone…

  • OmoEsan 3 years ago

    @Jimmyball, I greet you again.

Trust me when I say you’re such an interesting personality to observe and your antics really amaze me.

You made a categorical statement that of all our crew to USA 94, ONLY Efan Ekoku played in a top 5 league. We bursted you on this and since then you’ve been rigmarolling from one lie to another.

Oga, a lie is a lie and whoever is caught lying is called a liar, so I wasn’t wrong to have called you a liar, based on your many lies that have been bursted.

Don’t come and start giving us flimsy excuses of muscle memory here sir. A lie is a lie, it is what it is.

You said you don’t want to insult people on this forum, yet all your posts are tainted with insults. Are you not the Jimmyball that called some of us Dr Drey’s dogs & Dr Drey’s worshippers, just because Dr Drey made sense and our opinion aligned with his? Is it not you, Jimmy ball that said some of us should not talk on this forum because we didn’t play football?. As if CSN created the forum solely for those that claim to have played as affiliates and failed trials.

You now come here preaching ‘one love’. You didn’t know one love when you were hurling insults right?

You even descend so low to the extent
that you keep trying to check people’s profiles online and then come back to CSN to tell other forumites your findings about them. That’s disgusting Jimmyball. You said you’re looking at OmoEsan with corner eye, keep looking oo, cuz you won’t find anything on OmoEsan no matter how much you search.

It is you Jimmyball that once called someone a Janitor on this forum due to your frustration, cuz you didn’t find anything online about him.

Your next shot now is to label us jobless cuz we spend our spare time on CSN (just because we exposed your lies), whereas you that come here to make comments almost on a daily basis you’re not jobless oo!

You once said you’re from Benue State, so I’m almost sure you’re a Christian and going by the rate at which you tell lies, I must remind you about that place that all liars will end up if they don’t repent, hell. So you better repent if you love yourself.

    Best regards.

    • JimmyBall 3 years ago

@OmoEsan… I have had to dish it out before to guys who think they can act bully here in the past… I no longer go that lane, but if someone out of no provocation lashes out at me yet, believe me my salvos are the most lethal… but I try to avoid that… go and learn English comprehemsion properly… why should I be looking at your profile online? You the feed me? Only Efan Ekoku deputized directly for Yekini in their time at Tunisia 94, and in regard to that Tournament apart from Siasia, tell us how many games Ikpeba played from that nations cup to USA 94? Efan also did not play shit at the world cup… he was never dressed… what about Agbonivbare? Okocha came off the bench in all the games at USA 94… so again the competition had more input from guys who played outside the top 5 league then… if that comment vexes just take a fulltime job and continue as Hallelujah singer behind your master on this forum… I did not see you when your master lied that Ahmed Musa remains the only player to have moved from NPFL to mainstrean Europe league for the last ten years… go and sidon fruity-pack! Lol…

      • OmoEsan 3 years ago

Continue your lies ooo, Mr Jimmyball.

For your info, Okocha started our match against Italy, and played as sub against Greece and Argentina, while he wasn’t even on the match day squad against Bulgaria due to injury. That’s another lie of your bursted, Mr Muscle Memory.

Of course you never took a break from hurling insults at those that burst your lies as you have just claimed, so we leave you to enjoy yourself.

You don’t check people online, but your recent comment about Aphylidgreat and your past comments about Dr Drey gives you up in this regard.

I am jobless at the moment, so you can help me with a job if you can. But what happened to your own full time job? Haven’t you been on this forum since yesterday?

Just imagine how much CSN must have made due to traffic on their site caused by a big lie that originated from Jimmyball.

Keep it up joor, your lies are now an asset to CSN. Congratulations.

        • Dr. Drey 3 years ago

          Hahahahaha.

“..but what happened to your own full time job? Haven’t you been on this forum since yesterday?..”

          Awesome question….LMAOOoo.

He will call Dr.Drey a talkative, but comment counts on CSN shows he is more frequent…bloody liar and hypocrite. The desperation with which he tried to pin “hailing and praise the name of Anayo Iwuala” on Dr.Drey show in entirety what sort of personality and human being he is.

Pls help us ask him again which of his NPFL players has MOVED…yes MOVED in every sense of it…to the top divisions of mainstream European leagues in the last 10 years since Ahmed Musa MOVED to VVV Venlo in the Dutch Eredivisie…..LMAOooo.

The whole world knows who the true FAT LIARS on this forum are….LMAOoo. When he has been caught he will either claim it was sarcasm or a “bait”

        • JimmyBall 3 years ago

@OmoEsan… If I had a job in Nigeria I won’t give you because your temperance shows you are egoistic just like your Master… go open a car wash business and get busy. Whatever you wrote above regarding Okocha having injuries running into our first game at USA 94 against Bulgaria does not remove the fact he was starting from the bench and yes he only started against Italy… we lost against Italy anyways so our best results were still prosecuted largely by guys who played outside the top 5 which is what I have maintained all along… nobody said the argument was about whether Okocha is a starter or not… @Dr.Drey… You are hiding your identity to everyone on this forum because you are a fake and had nothing more than a BSc at most… You are hiding like an elusive Tapir because if your cover of haze and fog is blown… you can’t ever open your mouth on this forum again… but for your ego you won’t ever allow that… let us see you in Facebook… hahahaha. This challenge has been thrown down to you long but because you are just jobless street boy… you continue to hide. I should be the one to fear someone trying to scam me because of my security clearance priveleges in the US Army… Send anyone of your friend since your time 22years ago in Netherlands to come to Kleber Kaserne, Kaiserslautern and let me host him… You are faceless identity fraud… Hahahaha. No the claim wetin you no be… e go always cast…

          • Dr. Drey 3 years ago

You think everyone is an egoistic fool like you who thinks he is head above shoulders above others and nobody else has been where he is and thus must keep shut when he talks…?

If you say Dr.Drey is fake because he has chosen to to divulge his personal details a money-miss road local champion like you, then let me remain a fake…or is my “fakery” still paining you again…? LMAOooo

Everything about Dr.Drey pains you…my profile pains you, my personal information pains you, my clout pains you, my respect on the forum pains you…..LMAOOoo

Go and set yourself ablaze since I have refused to oblige you…..LMAOooooo

No matter how fake you say I am, you will NEVER command an iota of the respect I command on this forum. No matter how fake say I am, it will never wash away the filthy reputation of being a cheap liar you have earned for yourself on this forum…LMAOoooo. No body asked you any questions before you started rolling lies about yourself and your personality on this forum like a printing press…..LMAOOoo. It was you ego and arrogance that pushed you into the pit shame…deal with it.

If im fake because I didnt obey your royal lying majesty to reveal my identity, the everyone else who hasnt done so on this forum is also a fake….LMAOooo.

I dont know how people will be snooping around desperate to get into people’s private lives. Only you will poke nose into Tammy Abraham’s private life….only you will poke your nose Ahemd Musa’s private life….its Dr.Drey’s private life that is boosting your goatish libido now…..LMAOoooo. That’s to show you need to get a life ASAP.
            Nonsese.

…Samson Siasia played at FC Nantes… from 1993 – 1995 season… and these were his stats:

    Squad Involvement: 40

    Starting XI: 16

    Substitute: 24

…so in 1993/1994 season he managed 27 appearnces and in 1994/1995 he manged just 13 appearnces… so over 76games in total spanning over 2seasons he managed just 16starts… and 24substitute appearances… if that is not warming the bench for Patrice Loko, then I only have to say “Lord of Mercy” help @Dr.Drey… hahahaha. But still Siasia was always always an Iconic player anyday… his challenges at FC Nantes does not define his football, it was just a difficult situation like Amokachi had at Everton FC because his challenger… Loko was a goal demon himself… period! @Dr.Drey… oya you don win argument… go and lift your cup! Lol… cheers!

        • JimmyBall 3 years ago

@Onenaija… Hahahaha. Bob is almost going noughts… Lol. @Dr.Drey my friend is used to getting people to follow him… maybe he was used to coming first in class at Alimosho Grammar school and later went to Igbobi College and saw he could not compete there… he came to CSN expecting everyone to be sucking his toe nails and met folks who not only played football but are mixing it at the illest places of previleges he can only dream of… don’t warry when Buhari go your mobile phone battery charging business go boom again my friend @Dr.Drey… hahahaha. Goodnight homie… Lol.

          • Dr. Drey 3 years ago

So is that why you are a chronic liar and a bloody hypocrite…? LMAOooo.

“..We go use your mind play chess..” LMAOooo

Between you and Dr.Drey who is going noughts now….LMAOOoo…switching from onenaija to 1naija (after you were reminded) to jimmyball thinking you are fooling the world…LMAOoo.

Bloody lying idiot wey everybody don bust teytey….LMAOOoo

  • JimmyBall 3 years ago

…hahaha. If you gree come on zoom, Facebook, whatsapp call with me… if you are truly what you claim to be I will show you my work ID card… With US Department of Defence here in Germany… but bring your work ID card also and your PhD certificate… hahahaha. There are stalwarts on this forum but people no just get ego some most the lay low… I have been working from home for long and fo to office only days I have equipments to calibrate…

Make I help you… Ikpeba had it tough to have come into Super Eagles when Amuneke took stage… he had only 16 appearances for Super Eagles… what does that tell you for an African Footballer of the year in 1997? His first real cap was 3rd place match against Cameroun in Senegal 1992… after then played in one game against Egypt in Tunisia 1994 and never suited up at World Cup… he played in Tunisia because Westerhoff was trying to punish Amuneke because Amuneke choose to transfer to Sporting Lisbon and not MSV Duisburg in Germany. It’s like Westerhoff was promised kickbacks by Duisburg and almost armtwisted Amuneke to go their for his own interests instead of Sporting, Portugal… he had to eat his pride and fielded him in the final so as not to lose the cup… and boy what did Amuneke do? You know… even that Amuneke was not playing at first in Tunisia, Ikpeba was still rooted to the bench and never played except against Egypt that we drew 0 – 0…

    • Dr. Drey 3 years ago

Hahahaha…now that I have not obliged you has it stopped my from being Dr.Drey…? LMAOOoo…Has it set my profiles and portfolios ablaze….? You will have to be the Sec Gen of UN or the VP of World bank for me to oblige you in this manner….LMAOOo

Who want to be involved with a filthy lying pig….LMAOOoo. He has been busted over and over and now wants to turn is to a mud fight….LMAOoo. Simple thread about Noni Madueke, ill bred pig has turned it around and around and now wants to meet with Dr.Drey on skype…..LMAOO….yet claims someone else wants to “win arguements”….LMAOOO. Now we know the desperate lying fellow who cannot stand a bruised ego…LMAOOooo

    • Dr. Drey 3 years ago

Ikpeba who debuted way before Amuneke in the SE was understudy to Amuneke….LMAOOooo….a striker was an understudy to an out and out winger….LMAOooo. A full international with an AFCON bronze medal was understudy to an U23 all africa games player……A player who went to Tunisia and USA 94 with more international caps than Amunike was understudy to Amunike. WHAT A LIE…pls tell that to your wife and children. LMAOOoooo. Pathetic liar.

The fact that you still come to rant on this forum unrepentantly shows how filthy your upbringing is…..ZERO SHAME…!!!

      • OmoEsan 3 years ago

Don’t mind him Dr Drey. That’s the same way he lied that Westerhof usually brought in Efan Ekoku to help Rashidi Yekini.

Mutiu featured prominently in 3 matches in USA 94 and even hit the upright with a powerful header against Greece, and won many tackles against Italy, yet our Oga says he had no contribution to the team in USA.

Okocha dribbled his way to a world cup record against Italy and his moves earned Nigeria a deserved rating of the 2nd most entertaining team, yet our Oga says he had no contributions.

Siasia was a starter in 3 out of our four matches, scored a beautiful goal, but Oga says he had no contribution.

        Jimmyball is a legend.

  • JimmyBall 3 years ago

@Prof.Tamuno Offiali has told you he played with Ikpeba @scotland ’89 and he was a left winger and you are still here ranting… no be person wey the bench you for ball na him be guy wey the understudy? You got invitation before somebody but you no the play match… the person the sit you for bench yet you claim you be him understudy… Hahaha, are you then his coach?

    • Dr. Drey 3 years ago

Na only professor tamuno offiali…? What about Air vice marshal Perewari Danogogo…? Nonsenes….LMAOoo.

Maybe one day me too can claim to be Segun Odegami’s teamate at 1980 Nations cup as proof to the world that Odegbami was a centre forward and not a winger…..LMAOOo.

Ikpeba had more International caps and an Afcon bronze medal going into Tunisia 94 and USA 94 than Amunike, yet he was “understudy” to Amunike…..LMAOOOoo..Dumb fat liars…LMAOoo.

Maybe that was how players you met at Lobi stars while you were an “affiliate” were also your own understudies too….LMAOOooo….that lie no kuku big pass you. You can claim so. If you can claim the person whom you played with and trailed together with eventually became a junior lobi player while you became a senior player that almost got signed by enyimba in the same year, we wouldnt be surprised if you add an addendum to it that players who were there 1-2 years before you became your understudy…..that is the magnitude of the greatness of your lying might.

  • Ayphillydegreat 3 years ago
