West Bromwich Albion manager Carlos Corberán has hailed Josh Maja for his impressive start to the new season.
Maja has scored five goals in Albion’s opening five league games of the season
Corberan insisted he values the Nigerian for more than just his goals.
“You never know what can happen to a player.

“But I don’t just look at the number of goals – which is always very important. I value how much he helps the team.
“He forces the opponent to take difficult decisions and we are going to create things based on the solutions he gives us.
“We know he is an important player for us. We couldn’t enjoy Josh too much in the last year because he had two injuries in the same place.
“He worked very hard when the rest of the team was resting to arrive into the season at the level he is right now.
“Normally in life things are not coincidences, they are consequences of things. His mentality, his commitment and hard work are now giving him the consequences.”

With Boniface still struggling to replicate club form in the SE ,I think it will be a good Idea to give try out other options like Maja, Dresses, Akpom, et al. This is very necessary because the team struggles without Osihmen. Even Lukeman seem to strive better whenever playing with Osihmen. We have seen Owoyini, Boniface and the guy in real Societal . none is a player for player replacement for Osihmen. lets start looking for the black goat in the day time.
Boniface should remain in SE is an asset in back up for Osimhen, while Awoniyi could give way to other quality striker for now.
