Man City Star Attacks Putin After Russia Declared War On Ukraine

Manchester City’s Ukrainian star Oleksandr Zinchenko has attacked Russian president Vladimir Putin, saying he hopes the ruler ‘dies a painful death’ in a fiery social media post in light of Russia’s invasion of his homeland.

Zinchenko, 25, also released a patriotic statement earlier in the week, calling for solidarity among his compatriots.

Russia have launched a military assault on Ukraine, with reports of missile strikes in major cities.

Despite warnings from Western leaders, Russian President Putin claims that Moscow will mount an ‘instant response’ if others try to step in.

Leading figures from the United States, European Union and United Kingdom have strongly condemned the move, while US President Joe Biden claims that Russia will be held to account.

Thousands appear to be trying to flee from Ukraine as the death toll reportedly rises.

Zinchenko and Andriy Shevchenko, two of Ukraine’s highest-profile sports stars, have both spoken against Putin this week.

But the Man City star unleashed more social media anger on Thursday, posting a picture of Putin accompanied by the caption: “I hope you die the most painful suffering death, creature.”

Having only been up for a few minutes, the post was promptly taken down.

According to The Daily Mail, Zinchenko claims that Instagram themselves took down the post.

Zinchenko was an unused substitute last time City took to the field against Tottenham, with the north London side running out surprise 3-2 winners.

It remains to be seen whether boss Pep Guardiola will include him in the Sky Blues’ first-team plans as they gear up to face Everton on Saturday.

Don’t be fooled lil boy. The West and it’s Allies notably the USA are the real aggressor. Always manipulating things for their selfish reasons. Who is that person that will fold his arms while a brutal outside enemy is making friends with a weaker person sharing same flat with him or her. NATO IS FOR WESTERN COALITION FORCES CODED, WHILE UKRAINE/RUSSIAN BELONGS TO THE EASTERN BLOCK. SO WHERE IS THE CONNECTION N WHAT IS THE MOTIVATION. UKRAINE SHOULD REFUSE BEING FOOLED BY THE FAKE LOVE FROM THE WEST, WHO ARE ONLY INTERESTED IN USING THEM AS STOOGE TO BRING DOWN PUTIN N THE RUSSIAN STATE. VERY VERY SAD, THE WORLD IS ON THE VERGE OF WITHNESSING THAT THIRD WORLD WAR. LOOKING VERY VERY INEVITABLE. LOOKING INTO I N I CRYSTAL BALL, I CRY FOR THE WEST N PAINFULLY FOR INNOCENT CHILDREN, MUMS AND INFACT THE WORLD. BURY YOUR EGO N LET PEACE BE, YOU BUNCH OF TRIGGER HAPPY, DEMON POSSESSED,GREEDY WORLD LEADERS.

    • @glory you are wrong my good friend…….It’s a free world……Your neighbor has the right to make friends with who ever he wishes to make friends with…….All u need to do is treat your neighbors well and they will be loyal to you……You don’t annex a part of your neighbors territory against your neighbors wish and expect your neighbor not to seek for help else where……..If tomorrow USA treats Canada and Mexico badly then they too can decide to join another alliance…….Its a free world and we all should fight to keep it that way……. Freedom is priceless.
