PSG committed plenty of bodies forward as they looked for a way back in the tie, but there was no way through City’s rock-solid defence and the French side were eventually caught on the counter-attack as Mahrez finished another fine City move in the 63rd minute to put the game beyond any doubt.

Angel Di Maria was sent off for kicking Fernandinho in the 69th minute.

Man City who reaches the Champions League final for the first time since he won the competition with Barcelona in 2011, will now lead his side against either Chelsea or Real Madrid in the final in Istanbul on Saturday, May 29.

What a game. What a performance from Man City and Mahrez.
Nacho’s APOTY award is under serious challenge from Mahrez.
Looks like this one will be going down to the wire. Especially if Man City win the champions league.

I said it last week and they said i was a kill-joy…..I am saying it again today that if Mahrez should add the EPL and the UCL to the LC he has already won this season, the award will be waiting patiently for him at the end of the year. Infact as it is now it is already waiting for him. He is already in the UCL final and is a good as having already won the EPL….add that to his goals and assists for his national team in the AFCON and WC qualifiers. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves bcos of some blind patriotism.

Make kele get patience first. Water wey man go for drink from nor fit ever flow pass am b4 e reach the stream. He is destined to be an AFOTY and I hope and pray he wins it someday soon. He should keep working hard. But this 2021 own be like say e don get owner…..infact Edouard Mendy will stand a higher chance than Kele should Chelsea be the winners of the UCL this year

Hmmmmm…..i hope what happened in the 2013 will happen again. Remembered how Mikel won the UCL and FA cup in 2012, the AFCON in 2013 with consistent and solid performances at these competitions? Yet Yaya Toure who got eliminated from the tournaments went ahead to win the APOTY. I am hoping for History to repeat itself here.
