Manchester United Add Shoretire To Europa League Squad

Manchester United have added Nigerian-born teenage midfielder Shola Shoretire to their squad for the knockout stages of the Europa League.

The Premier League giants dropped into Europa League after exiting the Champions League in the group stage.

United face Spanish club Real Sociedad in a Round of 32 tie in Turin on Thursday.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made some changes to United’s 27-man squad ahead of the match, with highly-rated Shoretire among those to be included.

The 17-year-old has impressed for the Under-23s side this term, though he has yet to make his debut for the senior team.

Amad Diallo, who officially arrived from Atalanta in January, is also part of Solskjaer’s Europa League plans.
