Walter Mazzarri wants Torino to boost their top-four hopes in Serie A by beating Juventus in the Derby della Mole on Friday.
Torino have been one of the surprise packages in the Italian top flight this season and they will head into this weekend’s action sitting just three points off the Champions League places following a run of one defeat from their last 14 league games.
Last week’s 2-0 victory over fellow European hopefuls AC Milan was a particularly eye-catching result and Mazzarri is hoping his players can build on that victory and cause another surprise at the Allianz Stadium on Friday night.
“We were coming from a good week with the win against Milan, now we have another tough match that will give us a lot of adrenaline,” Mazzarri told reporters. “It will be an important test for my team, we have to cultivate our dreams.”

Mazzarri is also expecting to face a full-strength Juventus team, despite the fact the Old Lady wrapped up the Scudetto a number of weeks ago and they have seemingly taken their eye off the ball following a run of just one win in five across all competitions.
The 57-year-old added: “In Torino the derby is always the derby, even Juventus will play Bonucci and Chiellini, meaning it won’t be easy for us. We will need to make less mistakes than with Milan.”
