What I’m liking about Peseiro is that he’s started transforming the Nigerian defense. The Oyinbo wall is near retirement, and the introduction of Osayi Samuel as replacement for injured Aina is good. In fact, Aina might find it hard to regain his place.
As for Bruno, I know little about him except that he plays in Portugal. I hope this has not affected the Portuguese coach’s choice as the last guy from the Portuguese league that played against Algeria was forgettable.
I also like the fact that he is looking at Caleb Okoli, and I think he should also look at Fulham’s Adarabioyo, who after being ignored by England might want to consider the SE.
I’m a little skeptical about Olisa Ndah as the quality of the league he plays in does not expose him to the best players.

Bright osayi is overdue for se invitation, probably bcos of plenty right back in se. Bruno onyemaechi is like Calvin Bassey, he either play left full back or left wing back, (6 or 3). Sanusi is injured right now, so Bruno should deputise Calvin Bassey. I see glimpses of how paseiro first eleven in the friendly match will look like, Uzoho, osayi, Bassey, ndidi, ekong, akpoguma, lookman, aribo, osimhen, iwobi, Simon.

  • I was surprised by the inclusion of osayi not long I went to see 8s highlight as a performing right back in fenerbance . what I saw i was so amàzed of his skills with the bullet speed of ademola. Osayi has really impressed and learnt the trade of a right back so well with easy dribbling you’d be wondering and so direct at goal. What I can say is the right position has enough and capable legs that can face Portugal with ease. Moreover our defensive midfielder has to help in covering up for both wing backs. #PEACE
