Moffi Bags 5th League Goal Of Season As Lorient Beat Lyon

Super Eagles striker Terem Moffi netted his fifth goal of the season in Ligue 1 as Lorient defeated Lyon 3-1 on Wednesday night.

It is now back-to-back wins for Lorient following their 1-0 win at Ajaccio.

Moffi scored in the 33rd minute to put Lorient 2-1 ahead after Alexandre Lacazette equalized for the away team.

Enzo Le Fee broke the deadlock for Lorient on six minutes while Dango Ouattara got the third goal.

The win took Lorient up to fifth on 13 points in the league table.

Moffi is just three goals short of his tally (eight) for last season.

      Of course he should,he was a menace against Sao Tome & Principe fitted together easily and conveniently with the rampaging Victor Osimhen.
      Bagged two goals as well.
      We’re looking forward to that tantalising combo against Algeria,as we speak he has deposed Iheanacho as the assist striker to Osimhen at least for now under Peseiro.
