Super Falcons defender, Ashleigh Plumptre has disclosed that her favourite Nigerian food is moin-moin.
The Leicester City star who made her debut for the Super Falcons of Nigeria in February, 2022, is expected to play a key role for the team at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
However, in a chat with Kelly Somers of Optus Sports, the Nigerian international stated that she’s very much in love with Moin-Moin also known as (steamed bean pudding).
She said, “Whenever I’m asked of a favourite Nigerian food, this is it [moin-moin]. And everytime I have had it so much that it’s not at home, it always looks different. But it always tastes very good.”
Recall that Plumptre recently revealed that she chose to represent Nigeria ahead of England because she wanted to uncover more about her heritage.
