Mooy Hopes For Town Return

Huddersfield midfielder Aaron Mooy is expected to return to contention for new boss Jan Siewert’s first game in charge against Everton.

Mooy has been sidelined with knee ligament damage since early December and it remains to be seen whether the Australia international starts against the Toffees.

Fellow midfielder Philip Billing is hoping to return to full training this week after missing the home defeat to Manchester City, while Danny Williams (knee) and Abdelhamid Sabiri (collarbone) are also still out.

However, when asked what changes, if any, Town fans can expect from his side against Everton, Siewert was keen not to give any clues to Toffees boss Marco Silva.

Including whether Mooy will start. “Don’t get me wrong, but I think there’s a very good Portuguese manager maybe having a look at the press conference and so I can’t say too much about that,” he said.
