Former Roma coach, Jose Mourinho has revealed that he felt hurt with the decision of the club to sack him.
The Portuguese tactician made this known in a chat with Football.com, where he claimed that he turned down other lucrative offers to remain at Roma.
“Being sacked by AS Roma is the one that has been hurting me more. I gave everything.

“In these three years, I refused to become Portugal’s new head coach with the best national team ever.
“I also had a big proposal from Saudi Arabia.”
Mourinho joined the Serie A club in 2021 and led them to the Europa Conference League title in 2022.
The Portuguese was dismissed last month following a poor run of results.
