Liverpool and Netherlands star Virgil Van Dijk has named Nigerian artistes Omah Lay, Asake and Rema in his top five tracks.
In a video posted on X, Van Dijk also named the late Christopher Wallace a.k.a Notorious B.I.G. and Mason Betha popularly known as Mase in his favourites tracks.
Van Dijk named Omah Lay’s Holy Ghost at number one.
“Top, listen to it, keeps you in the mood.”
He picked Mase at number two with Feel So Good.
“Very good. Classic, unbelievable,” he said about Mase’s Feel So Good.

At number three on his top tracks is the late Notorious B.I.G. with More Money, More Problems.
Van Dijk said:”I will go for Notorious B.I.G. with More Money, More Problems. Nice little vibey.”
The Premier League and Champions League winner picked Asake at number four with Lonely At The Top.
“It’s a nice song, nice vibe, sun is shining and hopefully it will be nice,” he said.
He then picked Rema with Charm at number five, commenting: Let’s a lot of Afrobeats because I like to have nice vibes, sun is shining, smiling faces.”
Meanwhile, Van Dijk and his Liverpool teammates will take on Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final billed for Sunday, 25 February, 2024.
