Mourinho Job Safe At Tottenham Hotspur Despite Poor Form

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly expected to keep Jose Mourinho as their manager for the foreseeable future.

Despite guiding the club to the EFL Cup final, the Portuguese is under pressure to keep his job in North London after a poor run of form.

As well as claiming just 12 points from 11 Premier League matches, Spurs were eliminated from the FA Cup by Everton in midweek.

However, according to The Mirror, chairman Daniel Levy is happy to keep faith in Mourinho in a bid to avoid a change in the dugout.

Spurs face successive trips to Manchester City and West Ham United before the end of the month, while Mourinho will be expected to negotiate a Europa League last-32 tie with Wolfsberger.

Levy’s decision comes despite a number of alleged fallouts involving Mourinho behind the scenes, including with Serge Aurier, Dele Alli and Gareth Bale.
