Moyes: West Ham Can’t Afford Tammy Abraham

David Moyes has ruled West Ham out of the running to sign Tammy Abraham.

The Chelsea frontman is understood to be one of Moyes’ top summer targets as he attempts to bolster his strikeforce.

But the Hammers boss says Abraham’s reported £40million price tag means the 23-year-old is well out of his range.

“It would rule us out completely. We will be ruled out,” said Moyes. “So if that’s the figure and that’s what’s being said, we are ruled out.

“We don’t have that money, we don’t have that to buy a striker at that price, no.

“Is that sort of figure our total spend? It may well be. But you never know here.

“I don’t think we will be making a purchase of that for any one player. I’d be surprised if we were.”

Ndi Tammy Abraham should have picked Nigeria ahead of England. Your Victor Moses struggled at Chelsea despite picking Nigeria and your Ighalo was not even picked for matches at Manchester United.
Ndi Tammy Abraham is struggling. Haters are badass losers. Tammy Abraham will bounce back strongly next season. Haters will then eat their hearts out.

It will make no difference u know. Even if he bounces back, that one na him problem, not ours but one thing is sure, he has clearly seen the handwriting on the wall and presumably learnt his lessons. Never u trust the English bcs they’d use and just dump u by the wayside and again, mind how u treat people u see on your way up bcs u might meet same people on your way down the ladder. Little wonder he has lost his twitter password all of a sudden. So, no need for ur wrong insinuations. They make no sense at all. And for that 40 million price tag, that’s way too much for a player in such a bad shape. In fact, they better reduce it to enable him easily get a club asap and save his dwindling career. No sane club would pay such a huge amount of money for a player wey no dy find shirt for a club like chelsea. Na bad market he be now.

  • Bounce back……and bounce into the England 2022 World Cup Team?……That’s almost an impossibility.
If he were a Nigerian, Nigerians would have surely rallied round him in the real world and also via social media. Even Rohr could have tried to use his contacts to save his situation.
The man has made his choice and will have to live by it till the end of his football career. Unlike Liverpool fans, he is now walking alone. Apart from few friends and his family, nobody really cares about his plight now. England fans don’t care, and for sure, Nigerians don’t give a hoot. To make an already bad matter worse for him, some Nigerians “without chill” now reside on his social media pages and make mockery of him, his choice, and his current predicament, 247.
Nothing is impossible. His career can still ressurrect tomorrow. Nobody can tell. But whatever becomes of his career, good or bad, Nigerians don’t give a damn.
