The trio of Ahmed Musa, Odion Ighalo and Chidozie Awaziem have been certified fit for the Super Eagles’ AFCON 2019 semifinal match against Algeria on Sunday at the Cairo International Stadium, reports Completesports.com.
The three players picked a knock in Nigeria’s 2-1 quarterfinal win against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa.
There were concerns they could miss the last four clash against the Desert Foxes, but they have now been cleared to play the game.
“Everyone is fit for the game against Algeria, “media officer of the team Toyin Ibitoye told Completesports.com at the team’s Meridien Cairo hotel abode.
“We pray we don’t have any issues during the last training, otherwise everyone is in good shape for the game.”
The Algeria – Nigeria semifinal encounter will take place from 8pm Nigerian time.
