Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa says the presence of Algeria winger Riyad Mahrez was the main reason he failed to earn a regular playing berth during his time at Leicester City.
Musa joined Leicester City for a then club record £16.6 fee in July 2016 from Russian outfit CSKA Moscow.
The 27-year-old scored two goals in 22 league appearances during his time with the Foxes.
After struggling for game time at the club, he was loaned back to CSKA Moscow in January 2018.

Musa finally left Leicester for Saudi Arabia Professional League club Al Nassr in August 2018.
“Before they signed me at Leicester City, they told me Riyad Mahrez was leaving,” Musa said on Instagram Live while speaking to SuperSport TV’s Carol Tshabalala.
“If I knew that Mahrez is going to stay, I will not join Leicester, I would have stayed at CSKA Moscow.
“When I came, we had a lot of wingers at Leicester City, yet, I still got the chance to play.”

Its seems like osiwonder has agreed to join napoli in june, if it come through, that will be verry correct decision to make, napoli is a verry good team, the napolitanians are not racist by nature, they love tilented footballers, they are almost like nigerian fans in nature. The most important part is that napoli team and most other seria A teams, knows how to play for strikers to score goals, unlike other leagues where strikers dont get good balls on time and rather wingers becomes the goal scorers eg spain, england etc, napoli also know how to build a striker to his maximum capacity, for example cavani, higuain, baloteli etc enjoyed their campain while striking for napoli, napoli city also have alot of nigerians infact almost 30 percent of the city are nigerians that means osimeh will be full supported, i wish him lots of luck and i think there couldnt have been a better decision than this, what do you guys think? @deo, do more analysis on this news jare
