My Four Point Agenda Will Revive Nigerian Football If I Become NFF President –Akinwunmi

Outgoing First Vice President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi, Tuesday in Abuja promised to revive Nigerian Football with his four point agenda if he is elected to replace Amaju Pinnick as President of the NFF, Completesports.com reports

Speaking while declaring his intention to contest election into the Executive Committee of the Nigeria Football as President on September 30 in Benin City, Edo State, Akinwunmi expressed optimism that he would be sworn in as the next president of NFF come September 30)

“I intend to achieve my vision and action plans for Nigeria Football upliftment through a four key growth driven plan of Business of Football, Development, Infrastructure, and Technology,” Akinwunmi, the Lagos State FA Chairman said.

“I detest mismanagement of public funds and I promise to run a transparent administration accountable to the people. I will ensure that funds are appropriated and channeled for the right use.”

The presidential hopeful also promises to deliver a world-class system of youth development, refereeing, coaching, and scouting if elected as the next President of the NFF.

“Every decision I will take as President of the NFF will be in the interest of football. I’ll ensure that we start the process or processes of inclusion. Football first is not just a slogan, it is what is in my heart and that is the first thing I will pledge,” Akinwunmi stated.

“Every facet of football, wherever they may be, no matter how aggrieved they are, no matter how many factions they are, I will start the process of healing and conviction and I assure you that no matter the differences, within the next few months – the maximum is six months – everything that has been dividing us in terms of structural division will be solved. I guarantee you that.”

WHy didn’t you share the 4 points with Picinic when he was chairman, and capitalize on what you might have achieved

And how do you know he didn’t?
It was up to Pinnick to decide if he wanted to use the points raised or not.

You all seem to forget that Pinnick was the boss (and not Akinwunmi) and therefore, he called the shots and not his vice.

Before they chose any candidate for noble position, check his past record of accomplishments and his truthfulness. If he is found wanting, then his words and promises are nothing to be taken seriously. His vision is highly noted as he articulated them, however, let’s hear what others have to say as the process unfolds.

I think the solution of Nigeria football delimma then to make developed and incredible football is that new NFF must inact a law which organize Nigerian football this law classified on many items; frist election item, leauge administration, money funding and distribution, age phases and academy situation; administrive corupption; national team administration; clubs development and administration;clubs infarstructure and accommodate their situation that means any club must be a public sharing company has his especial funding, must establish stadium and his attaches(players hostels, jim, swiming pool, attach training pitch, management office); any club must have an academy which provides the club with talented players; any club must fund itself by his company; any club must work in marketing , investment so that they will fund itself.NFF must reorganize Nigetian football premiere leauge that means the leauge must begin in winter on the frist of new year till june; four team must be relegated to a low leauge so that any club must maintain it’s situation and standard; four clubs from low leauge must escalate to a premiere leauge; any club must interact of baning and compating administrative corupption at their offices also NFF also must interact this policy at their offices and their staff and empolyees; the penalty of this corupption is prohibiting administrator and empolyee from hiring in any offcial football job; fining him huge money; any candidate for NFF presidency must have Phd in football administration also must have development programme to develop Nigeria football, combating administrive corupption in Nigeria football; or an international player has an experience in football administration and has a concept to develop Nigeria football.National teams especially Super Eagle must be sponsored by an international company or native buissness men which will put an strong base for SE funding( coaching crew contaraction their wages, bonuses, players bonuses, accomodation, travel tickets, aircraft from their base to other place for example from Nigeria to Algeria or Cameroonon their coming friendlies matches. If NFF apply these policies or this law Nigeria football will return to it’s golory .
