French Ligue 1 club Nantes celebrated Super Eagles winger Moses Simon who had his fifth assist of the season in their 2-0 away win against Saint-Etienne on Sunday, Completesports.com reports.
Simon provided the assist for Nantes second goal scored by Ludovic Blas in the 48th minute.
Reacting to the win, the club praised Simon and Blas’ combination so far this season.
“Ludovic Blas: fifth goal in Ligue 1, Moses Simon: fifth assist in Ligue 1. These two form a beautiful pair,” they wrote on their verified Twitter handle.
Sunday’s win took Nantes to fourth position on 32 points, which is also a Europa League spot.
