Napoli To Insert Release Clause In Osimhen’s New Contract

Napoli are considering inserting a release clause in Victor Osimhen’s new contract.

The Nigeria international is edging close to signing a new contract with the Partenopei.

The 24-year-old caught the eye after netting 26 times in 32 appearances to help Napoli win the Scudetto last season.

Osimhen has attracted the interest of the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Napoli are pushing to tie down the striker to a new long-term contract, extending his stay from 2025 to 2027.

Osimhen would be given a significant raise, from €4.5m net to €7m net per season, and a release clause could be included in his contract – worth around €100-120m.

May you be wise to only accept a release clause that reflects on the value of the release clause proposed. Else you’ll be fooling yourself by receiving lower salary than players with less value than you. I wonder why a player like Renato of psg be receiving 12m yearly even though he’s worth less than 40million and a player like Osimhen receiving just a meagre 4m yearly with a proposal to increase it to 6million only by Napoli. If Napoli can not pay Osigoal 15-20m they should not put a high clause on him. It will be slavery. Osimhen doesn’t have a trustworthy agent!

  • The player’s annual wage should be 10% of the release clause, that’s the standard everywhere……Napoli and Tottenham are the same, they want to be great but want to get greatness cheap,lolz….. Osimhen will be damned if he signs that slave contract.

  • The American Sniper and the Falcons on rampage! No cover up..
Folks! Let’s do our part in helping falcons. For the next one week, let every headlines on sports paper be filled with protests comments against the shabby and erratic treatments the Falcons are being subjected to..
Let’s avoid distraction and bombard CSN with our expression.
But if you are traitor like Picnic, Gusau and cohorts whose daughters and sisters shall receive the same treatments, feel free to ignore..
    Shame on nff

    Morrocco played Switzerland yesterday.

Zambia are leading Germany 2-0 as I write.

But the NFF does not have money for preparations after collecting a whooping N760m from FIFA for preparations for the world cup.

They are busy strategizing on how they will exert revenge on Waldrum and the Girls and get away with their robbery.

I really salute this organization called the NFF.

    Very wicked bunch of people.

  • @ Lary csn has been deleting my comment since because it has to do with NFF, they have(NFF) insider among the management of can.

Falcons plan protest, World Cup boycott as NFF cancels bonuses.

Let this yeye adojutini NFF be disbanded.
They have completely damaged our football.

CSN keeps deleting my comment because it has to with evil NFF.

I thought it was just me o…..LMAOoo

For the past 1 week, CSN has been regularly deleting or refusing to show some of my comments.

No wonder they have been very quiet about these 2 singles oga randy just dropped in 1 week.

If it is to force Rohr to be sacked now, they will be interviewing every jobless ex-international available on the planet…..LMAOoo

Zambia just defeated Germany 3-2 now.

What an unbelievable game. Right there in Germany.

Ive never seen a blatantly biased refereeing in my life.

2 clear penalties denied Zambia after going 2-0 initially.

13 minutes of injury time in a friendly match where none of the keepers got injured and none of the players were stretched out….all just to help Germany equalize…..LMAOoo. Until Babara Banda popped up and finished them off in the 13TH MINUTE OF INJURY TIME IN A FIRENDLY…..Lmaoo.

Anyways Kudos to the Zambian team and their FA.

I even observed they’ve hired a dutch assistant as part of their technical crew.
While others are strenghtening their teams, our on NFF is weakening it by expelling the asst coach of the team and trying to force inexpereinced rookies on the head coach

I’m sorry but the way my passion is for Nigerian football…..my wish is for all these nff bastards to face a firing squad….They played all these friendlies in the last 2 years but getting closer to the WC and no quality friendlies……The likes of Zambia and Morocco have played atleast 3-4 quality friendlies in the last 2 month s or so…..Tell me, as a country are we not richer than Zambia? But corruption and nepotism has eaten deep into our FOOTBALL…..With these current NFF way of doing things, I’m going to forget our qualification for 2026 WC. I’m not a fan of Waldrum but I support him on this one 100%
