Wilfred Ndidi has applauded Leicester City manager Enzo Maresca for his role in the team’s impressive start to the new season.
The Foxes have recorded six wins from seven league outings this season.
Leicester City currently occupy second position on the table with 18 points.
Ndidi credited the Italian for the team’s superlative showing so far.
“He’s been amazing,” Ndidi told the club’s official website.
“He’s helping the team to be more together. If you have a look at the team, the way we play, and also the guys on the bench, we’re all together. He tries to make everything simple with the philosophy.
“It’s going well, and we’ll see where it takes us. Everyone is gelling so quick. We all know what we want to do. We know what we have to do. Kudos to the Manager because he’s been brilliant since he arrived here.”
The Foxes defeated Norwich City 2-0 in midweek with Ndidi’s teammate Kelechi Iheanacho netting the opener from the spot.
Leicester City will host Bristol City at the King Power Stadium in their next Sky Bet Championship clash on Saturday (today).Copyright © 2023 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
