EPL: Ndidi Stars, Iheanacho Benched As 10-Man Leicester Win At Burnley

Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi played all 90 minutes for Leicester City who defeated Burnley 2-1 in Saturday’s English Premier League clash at Turf Moor, reports Completesports.com.

Leicester City suffered an early setback after four minutes when Harry Maguire was sent off for dangerous challenge.

Despite playing with ten men, the Foxes took the lead through James Maddison in the 33rd minute.

Five minutes later, Dwight McNeil equalized for Birnleyto bring the scoreline to 1-1.

Late in the second half, Wes Morgan scored a late winner for the Foxes who recorded a second straight win in three games under Brendan Rodgers.

Ndidi’s compatriot, Kelechi Iheanacho was an unused substitute for Leicester City who earned valuable three points away from homer.

At the Vitality Stadium, Bournemouth were held to a 2-2 draw at home by Newcastle.

Also at the Olympic Stadium, West Ham defeated Huddersfield Town 4-3 in a seven-goal thriller.

Javier Hernandez scored twice in four minutes to seal a comeback win for the Hammers after Juninho Bacuna’s goal and Karlan Ahearne-Grant’s double gave Huddersfield a 3-2 lead. Mark Noble and Angelo Ogbonna scored the home team’s first two goals.
