“Leicester can play in different ways four in back. Five, one striker, two strikers. They can play good build up because of the keeper. People in between like Tielemans and Maddison – they have the quality,” the boss added.

“They can play in different ways. Brendan knows the team and the mood and momentum today decide what they are going to do. We have to adapt.

“You see all the players, they have quality. Ndidi is going well, Tielemans is a top-class player. I remember when Vincent Kompany started talking about how good he was. Vincent as always was right. Top players with quality.”

He knows his team is better than Leicester fc yet he showers them with praise.
This is a template most coaches in Europe adopts before games. It shows respect for your opponents your fellow professionals.
Rohr has followed a similar path much to the dismay of most super eagles fans. But this display of humility is never a sign of weakness, rather respect to an opponent.
After all football is never a war after end of proceedings, and most of the opponents hugs and swap tops after games.

If it were Rohr talking like this…eeeyy..the Atlantic ocean would be emptied into the Mediterranean sea in 24 hours. Man for man, team for team, coach for coach, achievements for achievements, everyone including Pep knows Mancity are the superior team, but see how much respect he has paid his opponents. Hallmark of professionalism. When Rohr does same…he is a coward….he belittles his team….kills his team’s confidence, yet the team whose confidence is killed has raked up more wins per game for him than any other in the history of the Super eagles……LMAO
