Neros Anambra FA Cup: Peace FC Coach: ‘We’re Aiming At The Trophy’

Basking in the euphoria of first round victory in the ongoing Neros Anambra FA Cup competition, the coach of Peace FC Awka, Michael Okoi, says that his target is the 2million Naira trophy, Completespors.com reports.

Okoi, while speaking to Completesports.com in Awka, reiterates that his team is determined to make a huge difference in this year’s edition of the Neros Anambra FA Cup.

“We are determined to rewrite history this time around. The team is prepared this season and we posted a good result in our first match. Our performances also at the ongoing Anambra Independent Football League is a good testimony for us,” Okoi said.

“Although our next match will be tougher because we know ourselves , we will work extra hard to ensure success.

“The price money is attractive and encouraging and all eyes are on the trophy. We are making plans and we are making progress “.

Peace FC will meet DOSAD FA on Tuesday to determine who moves to the next level of the 2022 Neros Anambra FA Cup.

Peace FC defeated Future Hope FC while DOSAD FA defeated Ozalla FC to advance to the quarter finals of the 16 year old tournament.
