Neymar is said to be inching closer to a settlement with his previous club Barcelona in a dispute over loyalty payments. Neymar was expected to appear in court on Friday over the dispute but neither he nor his representatives attended court with the suggestion the two sides are working towards an out of court settlement.
The 27-year-old Brazilian, who was strongly linked with a return to the club in the summer, is suing his former club for £23m which he claims he is owed in unpaid bonuses.
On the other side, Barca are suing Neymar for around £7m in damages as part of a loyalty payment they made to him in November 2016.
They claim his move to PSG within a year of signing a new long-term deal with Barcelona meant he failed to comply with its terms.
Lawyers from both sides are trying to thrash out a deal between the two parties.
