Neymar: I Didn’t Join Saudi Pro League Because Of Money

Former Paris Saint-Germain star, Neymar has denied reports circulating in the media that he joined Saudi Pro League because of money.

Recall that Neymar joined Al Hilal on a two-year deal and will be earning £129.4 million per year.

Neymar has been widely accused of leaving Europe because of the eye-watering cash he has been offered in Saudi.

The Brazilian said that rather than money, his move to the Middle East was motivated by his desire to ‘be a global player’.

“I have achieved a lot in Europe and enjoyed special times, but I have always wanted to be a global player and test myself with new challenges and opportunities in new places.

“I want to write new sporting history, and the Saudi Pro League has tremendous energy and quality players at the moment.”

  • Please Neymar, let that global motivation bring you to play for either Enyimba or Insurance. NOT A BIG ASK I THINK.

He need to put some narrative out there so that the Media houses wont be calling him names but truth be told, even the blind knew that he went to Saudi particularly for the mega bucks.

  • All those saying Neymar this Neymar that he is an Established Player and made his name In Europe and established himself as one of the football greats already playing in two of the Biggest club in world football Barcelona and PSG and being regarded as one of the key players in his time in both respectively. He has the right to move to Saudi for this Lucrative offer especially as the Media has not been kind to him during his spell at the Top

What I have a problem is Nigerians Advising Osimhen to go to Saudi Arabia. When Osimhen Establishes himself like Neymar did in his glittering career then Nigerians can talk. and, this is the point we have been trying to make.

CR7, Neymar, Ngolo Kante, Karim Benzema, Riyad Mahrez, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firminhio to name a few all have this in common and they can retire knowing they have made a name for themselves and have worked very hard

Even Baloond’or holder Benzema had a change of mind after seeing that money he terminated RM once! Respect must goto Mbappe and Osimhen because they had these offer but declined because of their age and respect for their fans.
