The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has sent birthday wishes to former Super Eagles and 1996 Atlanta Olympic gold medal winner Joseph Dosu who clocks 47 on Friday, Completesports.com reports.
The NFF sent their birthday wishes to Dosu via their verified Twitter handle.
“Happy birthday to former @NGSuperEagles goalkeeper, and Olympic Gold medalist, Joseph Dosu. Have a good one.”
Dosu made his Super Eagles debut in 1996 but had just three caps after his international career was cut short due to a serious accident in 1997 at just 23 years.

a friendly against Morocco in December 1996, where he kept another clean sheet, and the 1998 World Cup qualifier against Kenya in January 1997 which ended 1-1.
After his heroics with the Olympic Eagles he was signed by Reggiana in Italy but never made an appearance for them.
Dosu was the reserve goalkeeper for the U-23 Eagles that won bronze at the 1991 All Africa Games in Cairo, Egypt.
At club level he joined Julius Berger in 1991 and helped them win the FA Cup in November 1996, against Katsina United.
