Former Nigerian forward, Victor Ikpeba has disclosed that the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have shortlisted notable names like Laurent Blanc, Phillip Cocu and Ernesto Valverde, and ex-Porto boss, José Peseiro for the Super Eagles managerial job.
Ikpeba made this known in a interview with Channels Television on Tuesday.
The former Monaco striker stated that the list of seven candidates was trimmed to four by the Technical Committee, which has forwarded its recommendations to the Executive Committee of the NFF.
“We have about six, seven foreign managers that applied, the names are all out but some of them were not mentioned,” the Atlanta Olympic gold medalist told Channels TV.
“We looked at the profiles and we decided three, four of the foreign managers we take it to the Executive Committee of the NFF Board to decide.
“Ernesto Valverde, Laurent Blanc, Phillip Cocu and José Peseiro applied for the Super Eagles job and based on their profile they were shortlisted,” he said.

@Mahmud Shuaib, I don’t think Dr.Dtey uses ‘LMAOoo’ a lot – if at all. Instead, it’s usually “Hahahahahaha” or something like that.
Also, his submissions are a bit more advanced in terms of background research and use of English (even though not necessarily grandiloquent).
I may be wrong, but this is my cursory observation of his style. But the clone is really trying now at duplicating his style and stands/viewpoints to throw people off on who is who. Sometimes, it’s hard to tell apart.

Exactly the news I’m talking about, what major title has Aforementioned coaches won? Even with the talents at their disposal as Coaches, makes one wonder talkless of Nigeria. Cocu what did he do with PSV? Blanc what did he do with France and PSG? Valverde is very decent but can they afford him $1million per month? Peseiro is on a 12 match winless streak and zero cabinet but it’s your plan to hire him and pay him $50000 monthly for waste because he will not do better than what he has done before. Jose morais was the best affordable option with trophy cabinet but Pinnick will setttle for the worst as usual and when we talk people will say we complain. When all facts are there for all to see! My best choice is Lauren Blanc because he has won the world cup before with France so he understands the kind prayers a team need to be a champion.
