NFF Salutes Boniface On Last Season’s Europa League Golden Boot Award

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has congratulated Victor Boniface for emerging top scorer in last season’s Europa League.

Prior to Leverkusen’s home game against Qarabag in Thursday’s Europa League, Boniface was presented with his Golden Boot award.

He finished joint top scorer after scoring six goals alongside Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford.

The 22-year-old achieved the feat during his time at Belgian club Union SG.

“Congratulations to our very own

, on his wonderful achievement as the top scorer in last season’s

,” the NFF wrote on their X handle.

“We are proud of you!”

Boniface has scored 10 goals, made four assists in 12 games in all competitions for Leverkusen this season.

Also, he was named Bundesliga Rookie of the Month for August and September.
