Nigeria will win Ghana this time around.
Ghana in trouble again. Chaiii..Caf is mean o.
Caf shud wake up . Ghana football and nigeria football pulls viewers from all over the continents .the elimination by substitution is a joke.to west Africa
It is going to be the same old story,Ghana will surely beat Nigeria again cos we know how to beat naija.
This one no be under age tournament o, no cheating , man to man. Another defeat for Nigeria. In all fairness, this wafu zonal thing is trash
This Ghana jersey dey be. Nothing go change the fact that, Ghana commot Nigeria from the world Cup. This one go be cool chop for Ghana
“Salisu Yusuf will name his squad in the coming days”!
Today 31st July, the game to be played 26 August!
Fire brigade approach again,Pinnick’s tenure has seen our youth teams prepare for playoffs two weeks prior to their first games, this is insane!I wonder how we pulled it off sometimes,I hope we win against bitter rivals Ghana otherwise this site will be littered with opposition fans rubbing it all in our face though even a victory for Nigeria won’t be enough to erase the heartbreak of elimination from the world cup in Qatar.
We shall live with this pain until the final day of the world cup because we have such a crack squad of players managed by Eguavoen, you will always going to fail, thanks for nothing Dare!
Endless meetings btw regional arch rivals in qualifiers makes no sense, the agenda is clear CAF is on a mission not only to sow discord btw these nations but also to obstruct regional progress. For me this is all disgusting no wonder I have lost interest in African football of Late. CAF doesn’t respect West Africa and if the people in charge of West Africa Football don’t fight then we will go down the drain with the above strategy to sow discord amongst ourselves all in the name of football.
It is like Brazil and Argentina eliminating each other from major tournaments month in and out. We can not always expect to win Ghana because they’re not underseed when it comes to football in Africa. Caf is pitting South Africa against Comoros and doing this trash to Nigeria and Ghana. This is not fun anymore, it’s absolutely not fun because the rivalry that breeds btw both nations is not healthy when it’s happening too much in year. I don’t believe this will happen in Asia or South America, football is for unity and not for brewing discord, because the reaction afterwards this match especially if Nigeria happens to lose tends to cause too much disrespect and careless utterances from the smaller nation and this can not be happening too much in a year. Once in a while is fine but always is not making any sense!
This is absolute trash. What’s going on at caf. They are trying so hard to promote the south at the expense of the west. West Africa must start complaining. Is it now going to be either Ghana or Nigeria in tournaments
I think the problem resides with WAFU. They seem not to know how to play the politics of African football. everbody knows the strength in football lies in West Africa, to make it spread as they claim . move the 3 highest ranked teams in west Africa to play qualifiers in those regions and see if they will not qualify. the end product of this nonsense regionalization qualifiers is mediocrity and stagnation of football in Africa
@ Chima E Samuels, very well stated!
A lot of Nigerians are gullible. They don’t seem to see through the facade. Instead, they are here thrashing Ghanaians and vice-versa. They don’t see the big picture.
Our way of reasoning has been one of the reasons politicians in this country has been able to use and abuse us for decades.
Getting back to the upcoming CHAN qualifiers against Ghana, I will not be one bit surprised if Ghana eliminates us. In fact, I believe, they will.
Non-existent preparations!
Bad decisions!!
Abuja stadium, again?
The Ghana team I saw against Benin would beat Naija. Nigeria is not ready, Salisu would use fire brigade approach as usual, most of these local players are not paid for months, these guys are not mentally and physically ready for this encounter.
Conspiracy theorists and Pessimists are here aplenty but there are elements of truths in there comments, first off all I don’t understand this wafu zoning nonsense,if that is the case why is south Africa not facing Zambia? and secondly did the NFF not know that we will participate in the chan tournament? Must it be 2-3 weeks before a qualification match before our coaches start assembling players who are closer at home. This is why we aren’t winning matches which matters, won’t be surprised if the HBE lost because our administrators don’t learn and are probably spineless. I hope we win this match.
This is true. Maladministration is killing Nigerian football. We need better managers to make it work.
If super eagles fail to beat the black stars of Ghana, I will not rate Nigeria as the giant of Africa until this record is broken.
We want to meet a Ghanaian team that has been involved in back to back competitive qualifiers in 4 weeks time, and we haven’t even built a team yet….LmAOooo
Hehehehe……I dey laff o
A nation of over 250 million should have a say in how things are done and run in AFRICA but the opposite the case when it comes to Nigeria! This clearly shows how Nigeria has fallen and when we Cole here and tell Nigerians the truth, some will be saying crap!!
Nigeria should have a strong say in matters like this but as usual the average NIGERIAN is ultranationalist with penchant of invariably lying about the reality on the grounds!! Caf came out with this strategy to stiffed west Africa football mostly Ghana and Nigeria and their strategy has worked!!
The only thing Ghana and Nigeria should do is to BOYCOTT these tournaments until the right things are done!
Boycott this bullshit wafu nonsenses and tell caf to do the right thing
The caf president isn’t using cosafa as the qualification for South Africa nations but using this cheap tournament called wafu to just eliminate Ghana and Nigeria from Africa tournaments!
God bless you @selfmade… Now I see you hatred for Nigeria is borne out of frustration from the LACK of LEADERSHIP Nigeria is giving to the rest of Africa who look up to Her…
