Abia Warriors will play their home games in the 2026/2027 NPFL season at the Enyimba Stadium, Aba, Completesports.com reports.
The club will relocate to Aba in the coming days for a closed-door camping ahead of the new season.
Chairman Obuh Confirms Makeshift Home
John Obuh, a former Nigeria U-17 team, Golden Eaglets and Flying Eagles head coach, who is now the Executive Chairman of Abia Warriors, revealed this exclusively to Completesports.com on Wednesday evening.

“Our original home ground in Umuahia is undergoing renovation, so we’ll play our home games in the coming season at the Enyimba Stadium, Aba,” Obuh said.
“We’re just coming back from a pre-season tournament and will later move into a concentration camp in Aba, where we’ll play our home games.”
Abia Warriors Target Stronger NPFL Campaign
Obuh disclosed that they are putting together a ‘stronger’ and ‘competitive’ team aimed at ensuring a better performance in the 2026/2027 season.
“We’ve carefully selected some young and talented players that we’ll add to the ones we retained at the close of last season.

“In other words, it’s going to be a perfect blend of ‘youthfulness and experience’ that will be capable of competing strongly when the season starts.”
Abia Warriors finished seventh with 55 points at the conclusion of the 2025/2026 NPFL season, after initially harbouring hopes of a possible top-three finish.
