Abia Warriors captain Augustine Njoku has said it is important for the team to recover from their recent poor results.
The Umuahia club have failed to record a win in their last four Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) games.
Imama Amapakabo’s side will be up against Katsina United in a matchday 14 fixture at the Umuahia Township Stadium on Wednesday.

Njoku declared that it is time for the team to put an end to their barren run.
“Well, it’s a game of football and it has not been a good one for us because of the results lately, I believe against Katsina United we are going to get it right,” he told the club’s media.
” I will say it’s a test game for us and I believe we are going to get the maximum three points here at Umuahia Township Stadium.”
The former Nigeria U-20 right back stated further, “we are ready, we are always ready. You know in a game of football, sometimes you have your sag time and your surge time, and I believe we are going through our tough time lately. But going forward, starting from Katsina United game, I believe Warriors are ready.”
