Rangers maintained top spot on the Nigeria Premier Football League table despite going down to a 4-3 defeat against Katsina United at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium on Sunday.
Michael Ibe scored a brace for Katsina United with Azeez Falolu and Andrew Idoko also on target for the hosts.
Rangers got their goals through Isaac Saviour, Godwin Obaje and Joel Odoh.
Lobi Stars reclaimed second position courtesy of a hard-fought 1-0 win against Enyimba.
Alao Danbani scored the decisive goal two minutes before the hour mark.
In Ilorin, Kwara United and Bendel Insurance battled to a 1-1 draw.
Meyinwa Oritseweyinmi gave the visitors the lead in the 25th minute, while Isaiah Ejeh equalised for Kwara United from the spot four minutes after the hour mark.
At the Enyimba International Stadium,Aba, Heartland defeated Sporting Lagos 3-1.

Heartland took the lead through Stephen Chukwude six minutes before the break.
Sporting Lagos fought back with Junior Lokosa netting the equaliser four minutes after the break.
The home team regained the lead 15 minutes from time with Chukwude converting from the spot.
Chukwudi Esobe added the third in the 78th minute.
Sunshine Stars held Bayelsa United to a 1-1 draw at the Akure Sports Complex.
Ghanaian forward, Abdulrahman Munir gave Bayelsa United the lead seven minutes before the break.
Tunde Adeniji levelled scores for the hosts 25 minutes from time.
