NPFL:  Remo Stars Pip Enyimba, MFM Lose At Home

Remo Stars boosted their chances of securing third spot following a 1-0 win against Enyimba at the Ikenne International Stadium on Sunday.

Sikiru Alimi netted the winning goal late in the first half.

Newly crowned champions Rivers United defeated Kano Pillars 1-0 at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt.

Ebube Duru scored the decisive goal from the spot on the dot of 90 minutes.

Niger Tornadoes recorded the only away win of the day edging out MFM at the Otunba Dipo International Stadium, Ijebu Ode.

Munir Idris opened scoring for Niger Tornadoes in the 22nd minute, while Chukwudi Ekeocha equalised for the hosts on 63 minutes.

Jonas Emmanuel netted the winning goal on 90 minutes.
