There was pandemonium at the Alake Sports Complex , Abeokuta on Tuesday following a fire outbreak at the venue, reports Completesports.com.
The complex is the venue of indoor games at the ongoing National Sports Festival in Ogun State.
A gas truck supplying the complex’s generating set suddenly caught fire, triggering panic among athletes and spectators nearby.

Men of the Ogun State Fire Service were able to put out the fire.
No casualty was recorded as the driver was able to drive the truck far from the venue.
The Gateway Games started on Sunday with an elaborate opening ceremony at the MKO Abiola Sports Arena on Sunday.
