Kate Otiti Esugo has followed in the footsteps of her husband by winning a medal for Team Delta in the Shooting event at the ongoing 2024 National Sports Festival.
Esugo won gold medal in the women’s 10m Air Rifle with 211.0 points, a new national record.
Team Rivers’s Zinna Aitsle went home with the silver medal with 210.6 points.

Fatima Emmanuel of Team.Ogun won bronze medal with 186.0 points.
Kate’s husband, Okposo won silver medal in the men’s 10m Air Rifle.
