Team Ogun’s swimming sensation Kolade Otunla claimed gold medal in the men’s 100m backstroke on Wednesday.
Otunla secured first position with a time of 1:02:41s.
He shattered the previous record set in 2018, cementing his place as one of the nation’s top swimmers.

Team Ogun have put up a strong showing in the swimming event at the ongoing 2024 National Sports Festival.
Earlier in the day, Team Ogun’s Omolola Tobiloloba won
the first gold medal in the swimming event .
Tobiloloa took first position in the women’s 800m freestyle.
She won fiercely contested race with a time of 10:22:32.
