Marseille are not reportedly working to sign Celtic midfielder Olivier Ntcham this summer. Ntcham sparked outrage with his parent club last week after saying he would “blossom” if he were to move to Marseille and suggesting he needs to leave Celtic to develop as a footballer.
However, the France Under-21 international may have spoken too soon in regards to leaving Parkhead following reports from France that claim l’OM are not moving heaven and earth to sign him. Although the Ligue 1 outfit are said to be admirers of the midfielder, the 23-year-old is not a priority signing and they won’t be pursuing a deal unless one of their players leave the club this summer.
It is now unclear what kind of future Ntcham has at the Scottish champions, with huge doubts surrounding manager Neil Lennon’s willingness to keep him in the first-team fold. The Bhoys are said to be willing to accept an offer around £14million for the Frenchman.
