Super Eagles goalkeper, Stanley Nwabali has taken his rivalry with South Africa’s Rowen Williams to the Premier Soccer League.
The 27-year-old outshine Williams when Nigeria and South Africa clash in a semi-final fixture at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.
The shot stopper saved two spot kicks as the Super Eagles defeated Hugo Broos’ side 4-2 on penalties.

Williams however won the Golden Glove award for the best goalkeeper at the competition.
The duo are also battling for the same award in the South African League.
Nwabali kept his eighth clean sheet of the season in his club Chippa United’s 3-0 win over Richards Bay FC on Wednesday night.
Williams on the other hand has recorded 10 clean sheets this season.
