  • I’ll bet after AFCON we could probably see the left wing being dominated by two players who ply their trade in Turkey: Nwakaeme and Onyekuru.

Nwakaeme now has 10 goals and several man of the match performances since his move from Happoel Beer Sheva where he played with John Ogu. He has forged the most deadly attacking Patterson in the Turkish premier League with Rodallega in Trabzonspor.

Onyekuru has been voted the fastest player over 20 meters in the Turkish league and has forged the second most deadly attacking partnership with Fergouli for Galatasary.

Trabzonspor is currently leading the table whilst Galatasary are second.

Moses Simon could see himself losing out on a first team place, but retain his position in the squad as he presents the best defensive cover at left wing back. Having said that, he didn’t do himself any favours in his last match.

The other option is for both Onyekuru and Nwakaeme compete for one spot with both providing cover for the other in case of injury, suspension or unavailability

Hahaha crazy dude you mean he will score hatrick should Shehu play at right back I doubt if the coach will make such a mistake.

Gernot Rohr now has a central striker’s problem of too many riches. Ighalo, Nwankwo, Osimhen, Nwakaeme, Onuachu… This why early camp and friendlies are crucial because not everybody can make the AFCON 23.
