Nwakali Keen To Help Huesca Gain Promotion To LaLiga

Kelechi Nwakali is determined to help SD Huesca secure promotion to LaLiga at the end of the current campaign, Completesports.com reports.

Nwakali linked up with Huesca last summer from Premier League giants Arsenal but had his debut delayed due to visa issues and the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.

The 22-year-old however made his long-awaited debut for the Segunda Division club against Mirandes last week.

The midfielder made his second appearance for the club in the 2-2 away draw at Albacete on Sunday.

“I’m excited to be playing competitive football again. I have waited so long for this moment and I’m fully committed to helping the club achieve promotion,” Nwakali told AOI Football.

“The aim is to pick one of the automatic promotion tickets; we have a big game tomorrow against league leaders Cadiz.

“It won’t be an easy match but the entire squad is very committed to ensuring we get back to winning ways.”

Huesca currently fourth position in the table with 54 points from 34 games.

The top two teams will secure promotion to the top flight.

Hope mr rohr is watching becos i dont want any excuse for not futuring him after all etebo was in english div 2 while playing for eagles including ajayi and omeruo so therefor no excuses, azubuike has been playing in turkish first division for about 2 years now yet mr rohr dont look at is direction this is a midfielder who is naturaly gifted in that role more than etebo and ndidi but our coach is underating the maestro instead invited a rightback(abdulahi) as a midfielder, one day Rohr will have to explain some invitations into the national team(aweziem, abdulahi, mikel agu, esiti, ezemwa) and why ignoring better options(azubuike, musa muhammed, chima akas, hope akpan)

@Collins id, God bless you. Azubuike is a fantastic player for any coach to ignore but they have turned our Oga Rohr to king on this platform. It is well. God bless Nigeria!!!

Can we sometimes think before we talk @colins id. Super Eagles for now is fully loaded in all departments!. It may still take nwakali a year or two before featuring in se team. With ejaria, aribo, Azeez and iwobi around I see nwakali waiting a bit!. Awaziem is a good player anyday anytime, he has justified himself even when played out of position!. In defensive midfield, Ndidi has come to stay except if injured!. Etebo is a workaholic, mind you Onazi is at the corner. Ramon Azeez and Aribo can as well play beautifully there. Azubuike Okechukwu is an excellent player but the league he is berates him for now bcos se team has many options ahead him!. And mind you, everybody cannot play at the same time!. @colins id, your so called better option, may not get invited again except azubuike and musa mohammed. Hope akpan has paid his little dues to Nigeria long ago!, ask Chima akas how many years he spent in naija league before travelling abroad, pray for musa mohammed to prove himself in a club before being considered, he has played for 5 clubs in past 3 years and half. Besides more experienced, exposed and better players are ahead of him at right back. For azubuike, he should change to a better club..
