Former Nigeria international Peter Osaze Odemwingie has hailed Jurgen Klopp for masterminding Liverpool’s UEFA Champions League success, reports Completesports.com.
The Reds claimed their sixth Champions League trophy following a 2-0 win against Tottenham Hotspur at the Estadio Wanda Metropolitano on Saturday.
Mohamed Salah opened scoring for Liverpool from the spot early in the game, while Belgian forward Divock Origi added the second late on.
The victory secured Klopp’s first European title after losing three finals with Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund.
An impressed Odemwingie took to the Social Media to eulogised the German born tactician for his role in the success.
“Congratulations Liverpool! Logical triumph after years of knocking on the door. From [goal]keeper to forwards, complete team. Klopp is the man. He knows a good player.”
